McDonald's — Restaurant in Ewing Township

I am posting based on my overall experience with this particular McDonald's on North Olden Ave. If one goes during the morning, between the end of the breakfast rush but before the height of the lunch rush, the ambiance is quieter and the atmosphere is more pleasant. During the evening, forget about it! I'm not sure whether it's too many new people, too many young people, or not being trained on customer service etiquette (perhaps a combination of all elements), but getting food during this time is a nightmare. I was in the drive thru a couple of nights ago and all I wanted to order was an Oreo McFlurry and a hot fudge sundae. The line was held up because the person in front of me knew the guy at the drive-thru and a full conversation was taking place for almost five minutes before I could pull up and pay for the food. Also, it's not a good look for the employee to be on one's cell phone while he's trying to serve the customer. Now I only come to this one if I don't feel up to going to the one in Morrisville, which has better customer service and a tastier rendition of...

Super disorganized and unprofessional. First and foremost, i have had to wait for a door dash order for 30 mins, And i am the only person in the restaurant. Its completely absurd and rude. Everyone is just standing around and chatting it up. Discussing personal matters in-front of customers (just me cause im the only one in the store). But im sure that wouldn't stop them if more people were in the restaurant. Employees are visibly on their phones and seem to not care who see nor who hears the sentences that come out of their mouths. About more than half the staff is not dressed in uniform. It looks like they just picked random teenagers off the street to work for the day. This location seriously needs to work on their respect for their company and for the customers coming here to pay for food. I have wrote this whole review. And the food is still not ready. It has now been 45 mins....

Stopped in to place a takeout order. Because of construction in the parking lot, the drive thru line was exceptionally long. I’m glad I went in. The gentleman who took my order, Evon was just that. A gentleman. He greeted me with a friendly smile. Polite, friendly and conscientious.. A little of that goes a long way and truly made my day! I gladly told him what a good guy and a true professional he was. This location is blessed to have a person like him employed in their store. A real asset in the line of customer service. In fact, the whole crew were hardworking and friendly. No doubt I’ll be back sooner than later ! Thank you for making a dreary/rainy day much brighter! See You soon...
