Pork Chops BBQ Ewing Township — Restaurant in Ewing Township

After making my last stop to the Marshalls located at Capital Plaza shopping center Ewing #torturous day of shopping with my girlfriend ;(.....we decided to grab a bite to eat to take home and didnt want to go any further then where we were already located. Pork Chops BBQ was the only option thinking you cant never go wrong with BBQ. Upon entering this establishment it was very clean and Dore greeted me as she finished up with a customer. Dore was very nice and explained to me that all the prices have change, that i was more then welcome to take a menu and the new ones will be distributed shortly. While taking my order Dore had a few min to answer some questions as far as sizes, amounts of each item i was to order, i even asked about what kind of smoke was used for i had never eat here before and i enjoy a natural lumped coal myself over gas and pellets, she expressed there is no better way and thats how they cooked there meat and showed me the slide show of there grills at work. The Manager of the establishment stoped and chimed in also who was very nice. Long story short everything that is done @ Pork Chops is by far the best tasting besides my smoke meats around, for great service, great food, and good prices definitely check Dore out over at Pork Chops Ewing. Oh by the way i had the family 4 which feeds 8-9 is about spot on the money every bit of. My only suggestion for spending that amount is to throw in a drink with your combos and...

I came here bc I saw 4.1 stars of 5 and wanted to give them an opportunity. First of all, the lady at the counter was a little rude because I asked for the price of “Chicken Katsup” and she raised her voice and said:”It’s on the screen”, I avoided asking for the price of the milk boba drink(which is normally $4-$6)because I thought she was kinda mad with her coworkers and I didn’t wanna make her uncomfortable. However, I just thought like “it’s ok, maybe she’s having a bad day”. I just ordered and she didn’t say anything til I asked:”can I just sit over there?”. I was eating and watching videos with my headphones and one the workers sat down in the table in front of me and he was kinda staring me for like 5 minutes . I do not like people who do this. That’s so weird like Why is he staring at me?. I wasn’t even mad, I was really annoyed. Meanwhile I was finishing my drink up, that counter lady was watching all the time. I understand some customers left the restaurant without paying but it was only me. Ok, so I stoop up for paying and that lady was literally BEHIND ME, like bro I am here to pay. Then I realized the Bubble tea was $10! I went a lot Korean, Japanese and Chinese restaurants and none of them costed that. The food was good but a bit greasy. But well, I’ll never ever come back...

We ordered from this restaurant thru grubhub. Everything we had was very good. The only thing I wasn't too impressed with was the fried chicken wings with sauce on the side. It was the typical chicken I eat at pizza restaurants. I thought it was going to be homemade. Maybe I will try grilled the next time if they have it. But, it doesn't take away from the rest of the food. The empanadas was delicious. Definitely made fresh. The chicken empanadas was juicy and the beef wasn't dry at all. They were both excellent. The best I ever had. The ribs were very tender except the tip, that was a little dry. But, it's like that whenever I prepare those type of ribs. Overall, very good. My husband had ribs and half chicken combo. He enjoyed the chicken the most. He said it was very good and tender, even the breast part of meat. We didn't get to eat the cornbread because it was a little on the burnt side. It was very dark and dry. Hopefully, the next time we can get a better piece. We will definitely order from here again. The restaurant also followed my directions when I asked them to seal or staple my bags to prevent someone tampering with our food when it's delivered. That was appreciated. Hopefully, they keep up...
