Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Ewing Township

This location has extremely poor customer service. The staff is rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment—you’re better off going elsewhere, even to the nearby KFC.

I placed and paid for my order through the mobile app for convenience, expecting a smooth experience. However, when I arrived at the drive-thru to pick it up, I waited 30 minutes just to reach the intercom. After providing my name and confirming my mobile order, I was instructed to pull up to the next window. I then waited another 15 minutes, only to be told that my order had already been picked up—something that was clearly impossible. I showed them my app as proof, and they admitted they had given my food to someone else.

Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, the supervisor, Terry or Jerry, was dismissive, unprofessional, and unconcerned about the inconvenience. I was told to pull up and wait while they remade my order. After waiting another 25 minutes, I realized they were serving other customers before me and seemed to have forgotten about my order entirely. Frustrated, I went inside, only to be met with more rude and indifferent staff.

After finally receiving my food, I left, only to discover they had given me the wrong order. When I returned to have it corrected, the staff once again displayed a lack of concern, treating me with the same indifference and condescension. They eventually provided the correct order but did not offer an apology, refund, or even a coupon for the terrible experience.

I live in Hamilton, they are 3 Popeyes around me and I always seem to have an issue with the one located in N. Olden Ave. in Ewing. It’s simple take order get to window pay may sure everything is correct in bag and go. I’ve been a shift leader for 12 years. I know how this works but enough is enough with this location. I get back home and I’m missing a cheesecake (which I’ve been charged for) twice didn’t bother to come back because it was late. Next the lady at the window needs to be re trained. We are trying to stay safe because of Covid 19 why is she touching my phone?? I’ve had customers tell me no when asking for code, they can give it to you. I use the Popeyes app, they give codes (number codes not barcode) so no need to scan The young lady at the window asked to see my phone before and touched my phone to exit my app! Why? I don’t want your germs on my phone? I didn’t say anything Yesterday she does the same thing! Again COVID 19 this is unsanitary. And didn’t want to take the code. I went to the Popeyes located on Nottingham way in Hamilton the same order the same coupon code and guess what no problems! The lady behind the counter looked at phone saw the code didn’t ask for my phone didn’t touch my phone and kept her distance. Great customer service and I went home. Worst Popeyes around. Went to the drive thru on 9/3/25 @8:14pm an there was no line nor anyone waiting. I drove up was greeted asked the gentleman give me a minute but when I was ready and let the employee know he ignored me until I said hello 5times and only ask the food no drinks or fries. I got to the window the unhappy employee woman asked me for the payment I gave her then asked me if I ordered 2 cokes I said no I didn't order the full meal only Ala cart. She slams the window door in my face then starts yelling at people.i knocked on the window several times also beeped my horn several times and ignored me whole time. After waiting several more minutes another gentleman came to the window and asked what can he help with by that time I was beyond upset how I was being treated I asked for my money back.
