I arrived to this Taco Bell ordered my meals. I was told to go around front to pickup my food order. Now, as I drove around the front of the Taco Bell, I noticed a man sitting there on the sidewalk in front of the building in an undershirt and shorts, looked sweaty he actually looked homeless. So I parked and waited for my order to come out. The guy went inside put on a red polka dotted. It looks like a pajama shirt. Maybe it could’ve been a sweatshirt but the weather outside did not ask for such a thick shirt. so I knew something seems strange. when he went up to the counter and leaned in as though he was looking for something . The same guy came out with a bag and came up to my truck and said is this your order I said to the guy I said who are you? Do you work for Taco Bell? He did not have a uniform on. I knew he didn’t work for Taco Bell, but I just made it clear to him that I needed him to understand that something was strange. He states he used to but he’s helping them out. I said no no let go inside this is not my bag . I’m going in and Getting my order. I went in. I told a few employees about this. I said does this guy work for you because he doesn’t have the Taco Bell uniform and they said nothing to me and They didn’t say anything to this guy. the guy had a few items on one of their dine in tables even if he was homeless or if he was a patron, why are you letting this guy randomly come out go up to people in their cars and want to know their order and or randomly like in my case did not ask for my order but grabbed a bag and come out with it to my vehicle because you’re not an employee. I don’t want some random person looking scruffy getting food and bringing it to me. I need an actual employee to come out and hand me my order that’s what I pay for. that is irresponsible and unsanitary to have some random person hand someone’s food...
Read moreTaco Bell is one of my favorite foods. I have ordered from the Ewing location multiple times and have had somewhat decent service, but tonight 04/14/24, I have had a nightmare.
I ordered five beefy five layer burritos and 5 chicken enchiladas. I ordered through the Taco Bell app and it was delivered by someone from DoorDash. I received my food in 40 minutes. I checked the bag and found out that I did not receive my 5 beefy five layer burritos and they gave me 5 other burritos. I immediately called DoorDash to get a refund or have the order remade with no results. The DoorDash Operator said I need to call the store.
I called the store and the Manager was screaming and telling me options that makes no sense as they are the merchant that has to refund my order to DoorDash who then refunds it to me. I kept telling them what DoorDash told me and he refused to even acknowledge me and said to call DoorDash. I was on the phone for ten minutes that solved nothing but waste my own time. The DoorDash operator also stated the store manager was being rude and hung up on them after speaking to them for over ten minutes too! I called back DoorDash who said the manager was even more furious and did not let her speak. Two different Operators with the same results.
Overall I have been a customer here for awhile, but after dealing with this issue, it was the final straw. This is the FIFTH time I have had issues with this store. The last few times they would eventually remake the messed up orders, but they refused to help me this time. I will no longer be coming to this Taco Bell again nor will I use the Taco Bell app to order my food. My advice is use DoorDash and deal with them directly or pick up your food from another Taco Bell and save yourself the...
Read moreA miracle is what happened today!!! Read all the way through. Went today as a family after our daughter finished school. She wanted to go through the drive thru, but husband insisted to sit and eat. We ordered our food and the ppl working there were pleasant and courteous. But it seemed like there were more workers than needed during that time so some of them were casual and interacting with one another like they were at home. Anyways we went home and hubby realized he lost his wallet. So we called Taco Bell and asked if anyone found it or "accidentally" picked it up, the guy who answered the phone said "No" and that he knows what it feels like to lose a wallet (rolling my eyes). My husband heads down there and asks to see the manager. The assistant manager says he won't be in until 7pm. So my husband requests for the video footage of the store but the assistant manager says he doesn't have access and he'll let the manager knows when he comes in. My husband asks to search the garbage as well just in case it fell in there, but nothing. Discouraged my husband says he'll be back to see the manager for the footage and waited outside in the parking lot upset and pondering. Thirty minutes later a dark black guy who works there comes out with his wallet saying he found it and it must have fell under the seats! My husband had just got paid in cash and thankfully everything was there. He ended up giving 20 bucks to the guy. But wow the unnecessary upset, stay...
