Golden Leaf — Restaurant in Excelsior Springs

This place has really gone down hill over the years. My family and I have been going since they opened. It was by far the best place to eat and enjoy service. The past few years each time has been worse. After tonight's dinner we are longer giving them our business. Their food is never fresh anymore, it doesn't taste the same and never satisfies us anymore. The service is pushy and ready to get you out the door and rude at times. They clean your table off before you even get up to go. Can't enjoy setting and talking with family because their more worried about cleaning your table off and rushing you out the door. The prices per person were once reasonable, now their prices are very unreasonable considering their food isn't even fresh and don't really taste that great anymore. They need new management and proper service. Will not keep spending money here....

Didn't even get to eat here.Didn't even take a single drink of my water got one plate of food and didn't finish, itGot up to get another plate of food for me and my son.When he went to grab a booster seat, there was a roach on it.And he was saying, there was a spider.There was a spider when I got to the table I saw it was a roach.I told my son he couldn'teat , we ended up getting up and leaving.She made us pay for the food.My son literally picked up a roach, and we didn't eat, and he was screaming saying, i'm hungry, mommy, i'm hungry, mommy, and they still made me pay for it when my son had a touch a roach!!!!! Non edible foods- rice stuck to the bottom of the pan, potatoes and shrimp came out from the kitchen cold and not cooked, all meats were to hard to chew, and the salad bar was completely empty was told no to if there would be anything else put back out. Terrible service- rude in every way, didn't pay attention to anything my mom and I didn't get the drink we asked for, when I went up to the counter to ask a question none of the employees would come up and ask what was going on they stayed out of sight of all customers.

We will never be going back there we made one plate it was to hard to eat they brought out more and it was not cooked. We left after paying for nothing we came home and...
