KFC — Restaurant in Excelsior Springs

I've lived in Excelsior Springs majority of my life 20+ years and KFC is one of my favorite fast food restaurants so that's why I continue to go and overlook the AWFUL service, the TERRIBLE food handling, the repulsive everything. I cannot leave without checking my food because they never get it CLOSE to right. I can't tell you how many times I've pulled up to the order box and gotten attitude from the MANAGER. I can't give examples because it's the tones and sarcastic attitudes of the staff. Also the extensively long wait times are pathetic. It's a single drive through with room for maybe 8 cars and I've still waited in line for over 2 hours on more than one occasion.

My complaint today which finally drove me to decide its worth a review after 20 years of coming to this location, I was welcomed at the box with "You can order." And I can't convey the tone here but it was like I was hindering this womans existence by being in that drive thru and addressing me was the last thing she wanted to do. I ordered 3 supreme tacos. Nothing special.

This establishment should be embarrassed. Excelsior KFC has been known to be a terrible place to get food for a long time and I knew this but I decided to give them a chance because it had been years since I'd been. To start, it took 10 minutes for one of the four employees behind the counter to finally come up and get my order. I had eight sauces I was supposed to get and didn't receive a single one. My fries were cold and they just barely filled them halfway, and the chicken strips I got were cold. The only thing the place had going for them was that the original chicken sandwich was pretty good. But that wasn't enough. Needless to say, I won't be going again. I've always had negative experiences there and it doesn't matter what side you order from whether it be kfc or taco bell the food is always shoddy. Hopefully the citizens of Excelsior will finally get tired of them and shut em down so we can get some actually decent fast food...

The owners should be embarrassed that they have let this place go like this. Imagine all the money they would make if people enjoyed going there. Most of the time the order is wrong, they leave your order on the counter to get cold, they don't take your order, just look at you. So many bad experiences hard to name them all. It's the most disgusting dirty fast food place I've ever been and I have given this place many chances over the years and it has been a gross choice 97% of the time. Once I went to the bathroom and there was dried puke in the sink, like hard dried! That was years ago and it seemed like it was just slightly cleaner for a while but not anymore. I would love to have some KFC occasionally, I will drive out of town if I want it from now on. Somebody else please take over this franchise, everyone in this town wants to give you business we just can't...
