Hardee’s — Restaurant in Exmore

I was passing thru on my way back to Maine and I wasn't even planning on stopping! But... there was road construction and a lane was closed and I got caught in the wrong lane so I said what the heck and swung on in. I quickly ordered 2 fish sandwhiches and 2 chicken sandwhich meals on the app. When I went in I was told politely (by a guy who seemed like he was the manager) that they were out of fish, and they asked how can they make it right. I said please just let me get chicken sandwhiches all around. They were like, you got it. I can't explain what I want to say, but the service was great and they spoke to me like I mattered. You don't get that in fast food too often. I'm a Hardees fan from way back, so the food has always been great. I just highly recommend this loaction in Exmore. They truly seemed to care about who they are ...

My family and I stopped at this restaurant on our way home to NY from Virginia Beach. The food was hot and delicious 😋 The employees were polite and enthusiastic! The dining room and bathrooms very clean! Great experience overall. A few hours after leaving the restaurant my son could not find his phone which was dead. We didn't worry too much about just figured it was lost somewhere in our very packed SUV. After getting home it wasn't until the following day that we were able to do a thorough search of the car and still could not find the phone. It wasn't until a day or 2 later that I called to see if he had possibly left it here. Much to my surprise they had it! The manager James was SUPER understanding and helpful as he worked with me to get my son's phone mailed all the way back to NY!!!...

Flies everywhere..bathroom smelled horrible....the ketchup dispenser had be broken for quite some time before i arrived there..not knowing this i go to use it and the watered down remnants of ketchup inside squirted all over my hand..the manager stood behind the counter snd literally watched me do this...i happened to look over at her and she says not a word..just hands me 5 ketchup packs...as if she purposely wanted to see my reaction or failure to use the broken dispenser..smh...the burger was good ahd the fries fresh but between the flies, bathroom odor and not so managing manager....this place needs some help!...the young wonen at the cash register were very polite and obligatory...maybe they should be...
