This is my second time here and I have to say, I am not impressed. I was really looking forward to this opening so close to where I live and the fact that it has a drivethough, but honestly the staff and the restaurant space have ruined it for me. The first time I went, I was by myself and ordered a bowl to go. When I asked for extra cheese and rice, the employee seemed annoyed with my request. It was fine, whatever. I payed and went on my way.
Fast forward to tonight and I met my mother and sister here and brought along my two children (18 months and 3 years old). First of all, this place is super small, so good luck fitting a high chair at the table without it being in other people's way. Secondly, it was super busy, which I understand, because it was the dinner rush. My 18 month old was being super squirmy in the line, so I went to put him in a high chair at a table. Obviously, I couldn't leave him by himself, so I waited until my sister had ordered and then asked her to switch me so I could order my food. When my mom told them we had one more order, they just stood there and looked at each other super annoyed at us and didn't say a word. I got the message loud and clear. So I said never mind and walked away. I honestly felt so upset by it and seriously considered not ordering at all and letting my kids eat then leaving, but after thinking it through, I decided I wasn't going to let their bad attitudes ruin my dinner and I'd just order to go on the app. I was sitting in the restaurant and could see what was going on the whole time. I ordered my food at 7:00 and it said it would be ready by 7:10. From the time I placed my order to the time it was supposed to be ready, maybe 2 or 3 people had come in to order (and at one point no one was in the store). How is it that it took them almost 20 min to prepare my food, unless they had a huge rush of drive through orders, but I doubt that because I didn't see bowls being made. At 7:20, we let them know we were still waiting on a mobile order and FINALLY it was put out on the pickup shelf, but they didn't even put it on the correct shelf. I almost didn't look at the bag they put out, because my name doesn't begin with any of the letters on that particular shelf, but something told me just look, and sure enough, it was mine.
This whole experience just put a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be back because of it.
Chipotle has really gone downhill over the years and it's sad, because the food used to be so good.
Also, the steak was dry. I ordered extra cheese and there was barely any...
Read moreUpdate I have recently learned after speaking with current management that the particular employee mentioned in my original review was let go, for reasons similar to what they were doing to other said employee. I have been back a few times and the atmosphere and staff there have been much more pleasant. I'm glad to be able to go to a Chipotle closer to my home again. It's nice to see a better working environment for people.
This would have been 5 stars, but tonight really bothered me. Usually this place is great about portions, people are generally kind, and it's very clean. Tonight did not meet that. It was clean, but the staff... well, one in particular, got me to leave. I was sitting in line, and the poor guy working the beginning of the line, really looked defeated. I assume he was a trainee. I get it though, learning something new, it's busy, it's easy to look down. After a few minutes I understood why he looked so defeated. The guy training him seemed off. He kept stepping over him, giving frustrated glances, etc. After a while though, the guy just swung open the thing you all heat the tortillas with, yanked out the tortilla, and yelled at the guy "What are you even doing?!" and tossed over the tortilla and just took over what he was doing. I can deal with shortages, long lines, waits, even people that are just not in a great mood. That being said, I'm not going to spend money in a location that has staff berating other staff. As a business owner myself, if a member of my staff treated another like that, they would immediately be in the unemployment line. I feel terrible for...
Read moreI have enjoyed coming to this convenient location close to where I live for a while now. I usually come at least once a week and I have never been disappointed. The store is clean and well kept. The employees are very courteous. The food is cooked and prepared very deliciously. I feel appreciated and valued as a customer. Today, as I was buying my burrito bowls I forgot to put sour cream on one. Ethan was assisting in preparing my food and said he could give me a little container with sour cream because that bowl had already been packaged up. I thought that was so nice of him to offer. On my way home, it occurred to me that I forgot about the sour cream. Guess I'll be eating my bowl minus the sour cream. When I arrived home and was unpacking the food.....Ethan did indeed include my sour cream!!! That put a really big smile on my face. Thanks so much for that Ethan!!! I would also like to thank another employee, Ryan. He is always so nice and always has a smile on his face. If he is there i know what ever he is doing will be done right and with a contagiously positive attitude. Thanks to you as well Ryan for all the times you rose to the occasion with my crazy requests. (eg. squishing the carnita meat so the bowl isn't soggy). I really...
