My husband and I wanted to get some asian food this afternoon, and we were out in Fairborn, we found reviews for this little place to be phenomenal and Tokyo Tasty Wok did not disappoint. It looks from the outside to be a much smaller place, but once you get inside, it is a nice roomy little restaurant that is absolutely charming. It is clean, decorated smartly for the space, but very cute. The woman who waited on us also seated us, she was very sweet. I ordered hot green tea in a pot, which was lovely and my husband a sweet tea (this was a bottle of pure leaf, no refills, but a large glass of ice) I couldn't decide between sushi or an entree so I chose the lunch bento, which had a few pieces of California roll in it, enough to satisfy my craving. I chose the Pork Katsu bento box, which came with miso, a ginger salad, white rice, a spring roll, and it said 3 pc California roll on the menu. To my delight, it was 4 pieces when it came out! My husband chose the Combination Lo Mein and an egg roll. He always will choose a Lo Mein dish the first time at an Asian restaurant that has it, every time. The soup and salad came out first, each a hearty serving and absolutely delicious! I love a good miso and this definitely was one. The entrees came out, and my bento was plated very nicely, it was pretty food! As I said previously, it had 4 pieces of California roll in my bento, which was a delightful surprise. Now as for taste, it tasted as good as it looked. Actually, better! The Katsu was cooked perfectly, so that the pork did not dry out. The rice was a perfect texture, the spring rolls were full of flavor and had a wonderful crunch. The California roll made me want more to be honest but I was full!! I do know that I will be ordering more sushi my next time. My husband's Lo Mein was plentiful and plated nicely. It had loads of meat in it and he said it was fantastic. I had a small bite of it, and I thought it was really good! He said the egg roll was very tasty as well. Do not sleep on this place, its a tiny treasure in Fairborn and you have to give it a try. I found it to be very reasonably priced, especially for lunch. You gotta go.

As I dive into the culinary wonders of Fairborn, Ohio, I find myself at a sushi sanctuary that tantalizes the senses and redefines the art of Japanese cuisine. It may not look like much the outside but OMG is it a 180 on the food inside!!! First up, the miso soup—this isn't your run-of-the-mill appetizer. It's a warm embrace on a cool Ohio day, a perfectly balanced broth teeming with umami that dances on the tongue, setting the stage for what's to come. Next, the vegetable gyoza. Crispy on the outside, succulent on the inside, these dumplings are a harmonious blend of garden-fresh veggies wrapped in a golden-brown crust. Each bite is a crunchy, savory burst of zen. Enter the chicken pad Thai. A dish that's usually the domain of Thai cuisine, but here, it's been embraced with a sushi chef's finesse. The noodles are tender yet firm, the chicken succulent, and the veggies crisp. Tossed in a tangy sauce and finished with a squeeze of lime, it's a cross-cultural love affair. The pièce de résistance? The sushi rolls. The spicy tuna roll is a fiery gem, the heat of the tuna mellowed by a creamy mayo, a juxtaposition that sends shivers down your spine. And the tempura fried JB roll with eel sauce? It's a crispy, decadent wonder, a textural masterpiece drizzled with a sweet and savory sauce that lingers long after the final bite. Fairborn's sushi spot doesn't just serve dishes, it crafts memories, one ecstatic, energetic bite at a time!!!

Delicious and reasonably priced for the great quality of food. We started off with Gyoza 🥟 that was very tasty: pan fried and then steamed to perfection. The miso soup was flavorful and the ginger salad dressing was sweeter than most places and was well paired with the finely peeled carrots and iceberg. The spicy maki combination was great value but the spicy tuna was our fav on the plate. I could do without the spicy crab roll. I also had the the Amazing Yellow Roll which had just the right amount of spice mixed with the pickled flavor of the oshinko. The tuna sushi was also the perfect add to finish off the plate. For dessert tempura Oreos left us filling complete and overly full. They could easily be shared between 3 people after a big dinner. We will be back! Update: we were in the Fairborn area tonight so decided we needed to give this place another visit! The food and service is still on point. We had Gyoza, miso soup, salad, maki spicy combo, amazing yellow roll, and the Fairborn roll. The amazing yellow roll was my favorite item ordered tonight! The spicy crab roll was more to my liking this time buy the spicy tuna remains the fan fave on the maki combo plate.

The only thing that saved this from a one star review was the super nice waitress. . . I brought my boyfriend here for his first Japanese experience and unfortunately, I should have taken him to tiks thai express, they would have done a much better job. So the resturant gave us and another couple an appetizer on the house, which was nice of them, but the food was lacking of any real flavor. I got the tempura vegetables, the vegetables had no flavor at all. the only thing that saved them was the side of yum yum sauce which I had to ask for twice. I actually asked the owner first and she forgot. so the waitress had to pick up the slack in that request. then came the beef pad thai. the noodles were over cooked. my partner asked for extra spicy and I think the owner just forgot that too. the pad thai came out over cooked and super sweet. I've had pad thai from all over the US and I was extremely disappointed. I did, politely tell the waitress about the pad thai and she said she'd tell the owner. the owner never once stopped to see us. no apology. nothing. except to collect her money we were charged for the entire meal, which I never mind paying for as that is the intent when going out to eat. I don't think we'll ever visit this establishment again. try the mexican place next door. that...
