I'll start by saying I normally only order pizza from here which is pretty good. I've actually never had bad pizza from here. The pizza sauce is a very basic sauce but good. Went out on a limb tonight and ordered meatball subs(there are 5 of us so we order 4 meatball subs and chicken tenders plus extra meatballs)because the pictures looked so good. Unfortunately, I have to give 2 stars because the meatball subs were so bad. The bread and cheese were ok but the meatballs frankly were inedible for me....everyone else took a bite or two as well and couldn't do it .... had to throw them all away. The chicken tenders were good so because this was dinner we ordered some more chicken tenders and everyone else opted for McDonald's. If you want some decent pizza or chicken tenders this is a pretty good place. Staff is very nice but I have to say after a lengthy conversation about the meatish meatball subs and spending $80 plus a tip altogether they offered no compensation at all ,not even a percentage off next time, not even $2.00 off a next order I don't see there being a next order as there are many...
Read moreVerona's is real home style Italian! We are an Italian family that typically make all our own. However, for a recent large event we needed to order large amounts. We had had their pizza and it was great, but we needed to try their pasta. We had the Trio dish and loved it. The ricotta filling was outstanding as was the sauce. So we ordered 3 large trays and 10 pizzas. They went out of their way to make everything work. One of my nephews said this was as good as the manicotti he had in NYC growing up. They were also fantastic in helping me plan the timing and amounts, as well as be a great value. I definitely recommend Verona's for a meal or party.
We just had Verona’s cater a retirement ceremony for 300 people and they did it again…amazing food and service. They had 15 trays of pasta (really loved the stuffed shells), salad and garlic knots (boy are they good) ready right on time. I could not recommend more highly for a party or a meal this is great homes style...
Read moreWe drove past here yesterday and knew we had to try it. NY style pizza in Fairborn? Yes please! We went with the classics, plain, and pepperoni pies, garlic knots, cheese calzone, and meatball parm sub.
Yes, it was good. The right balance of sauce and cheese, the right amount of small tomato chunks in the sauce. Well flavored. Just all around good. The quality of the cheese was great. The crust was thin and the perfect level of chewiness.
The garlic knots were also very good with plenty of olive oil and garlic. I can’t wait to go back and try some more menu items.
The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is they didn’t have anchovies as a topping, and no calamari as an appetizer. Otherwise it would have been a...
