I stopped in to try the kale Caesar salad. I made my order at a kiosk (no customer service) and added avocado and “steak” to give it a little more protein. Ended up being 22 dollars. The Caesar dressing and the kale IDEA is great. The end product…not so much. The chicken is literally white because it’s so under seasoned. The “steak” that was an extra 6 dollars was 3 pieces of COLD THIN SLICED ROAST BEEF THAT WAS ALSO (surprise) NOT SEASONED. it was nasty trying to get it down I wish they would have said what it was: “roast beef worse than Arby’s” instead of steak cause it’s very misleading and disappointing. Especially for the price. Will NOT be going back, go to CHOPT, if you want a quality salad, this is NOT the place. We placed online orders and the pickup times both came and went for both orders without them being ready. There were only two customers inside ordering it seemed like for the longest time our order stayed in received and we didn’t see anyone making it. Eventually a line formed on the pickup side. When we finally did get the food, the bowls are only have filled and not mixed at all like in the picture advertising. There were no napkins or plastic silverware either in our pick up order. We enjoyed the Caramelized Garlic Steak and Miso Glazed Salmon—both dishes were flavorful. However, the white rice served with the salmon was a bit too dry and hard. While the food met our expectations, the customer service could be improved. The staff seemed somewhat disengaged and not very proactive in assisting customers, which made the experience feel less welcoming.
