Cassano’s Pizza is more than just a lcoal pizza shop; they are a cherished tradition that is deeply rooted in the heart of the Fairfield community. šŸ• #localbusiness #pizza #nationalpizzaday #foodtiktok

Not The best pizza!! <------ use to be! This use to be my favorite pizza since I was a child coming in with my parents. I have to say I miss how they use to make the garlic bread with cheese (no longer have the sliced provolone to top it.. they now use a sprinkle of shredded pizza cheese and no longer buy the provolone to slice) so that item is not worth the money and taste. Which they say they haven't changed anything and that is not true. The number one thing of most recently is the taste of the pizza! Hardly no cheese on the pizza and it always tastes different. The salt hardly on bottom and no seasons on top! The cook said they mix oregano in the cheese now?? Didn't even taste it. Hardly no sauce so bland! This time today would I would have to say was the worse pizza ever. Straight like cardboard apparently from their new oven! The bottom of the pizza was able to peal right off the pizza literally! So sad! And I wish I knew one of the old ovens was an option and able to work! I might give them one more try. Just to know and have hope of the old! So heart breakingšŸ’”šŸ¤¢ Oh and I have the pictures to share...

My family has been coming here ever since their Finneytown location closed in the mid-2000’s (Fairfield & Finneytown were owned by the same folks for many years). Recently, the Fairfield location was sold & the new owner, Kate, has done a fantastic job preserving the wonderful taste (it’s different than the Dayton chain, better in my opinion) yet updating the dining room with 4 large TV’s, a few games (hello 60+ classic arcade game-all the Pac-Mans, Donkey Kongs, Galaga, Qix, Congo Bongo) and now a local craft beer (Sonder IPA), too. The dining room has some really cool Cassano’s logos and a very cool traditional paint scheme update-love it! The crew is fantastic, friendly and really looking to see that your experience is a great one. Bravo, Kate and team!

Cassanos pizza, You know, that delicious thin crust, slightly tangy sauce, those delicious unique herbs and spices, the browned edge, and the oh so delicious crust slightly crunchy on the bottom and if you were lucky enough to to get one with a little burnt cheese under the bottom edge. I remember it well. As a teenager my friends and I would scrape up enough money to go to the Cassanos on Daly road in Finneytown one afternoon weekly. We would order 2 large pizzas and finish all of it between the 3 of us and always wish we could have had more. Well 40 years later the Daly road store is gone but there is still one in Fairfield Ohio. I went there last night and ordered a large carryout pizza. Hoping to experience the same nostalgic iconic taste when I got home. The staff was great and the store was clean, it wasn't very busy. When I got home and opened the box I found a pizza with virtually no sauce, there was no tangy sauce taste, there was very little if any spices that I could taste. The cheese was just melted with no browning on top. The crust was so limp I actually had to peel alot of it off the bottom cardboard along with a little paper. My wife ate one small triangle, I heated four small pieces in the oven and didn't even finish them. We threw the rest of it away. You know forty years later I'm a senior on fixed income I find myself again having to scrape up enough money to order restaurant food occasionally. I wasted $16. dollars. Alot of things you remember from your youth just aren't quite as good as you remember. But I'll always remember this pizza and remember to never go back and...

I do not know how to reply to your response so i have edited my post. Your reply has just proven further that you have no idea who you kicked out. Our experience was simply an extremely rude act by a disrepectful staff member with an inappropriate toothpick hanging out of his mouth. We came directly to you with our concern to which you replied..."I am so sorry. It is hard to find good help. I am not happy with him at all. Please come back and i will make it right." So we decided to give you a 2nd chance and you threw us out without warrent or reason. I have loved cassanos since i was a teenager and will continue to patronage other locations but will not step foot in your store as long as you are the owner based simply on your over reaction and harsh words. Take a look at other reviews and you will find others reported you to be rude and nasty too. There was no reason for it. Me and my party dont need to try and lower your goggle rating...you are doing that all on your own! Apparently respect only flows one way at Cassanos in Fairfield. What a shame!

Food is always excellent as always. Been going there for 30 years but the new owner is a nasty person. Her staff was rude and we brought it up to her and she said she would take care of us next time. Well next time she kicked us out of the resturaunt. No explanation just rude and for no...

Excellent pizza, my personal favorite. The pizza is thin crust and usually slightly crispy on the bottom. What makes the pizza the best is the sauce, it is a slightly sweet marinara with more of a tomato flavor than most other pizzas. I am not sure if the sauce is homemade but it tastes like it in my opinion.

Overall the quality of the ingredients is high and typically the preparation is top notch. Very rarely I'll receive a pizza with portions of the bottom very slightly charred, but those times are few and far between and the vast majority of the time the pizza is cooked to perfection.

They have dine in or carry out options, the dine in environment is nice and there is a cooler with a fairly large selection of beverages. This is one of the few pizza places in the area that I am aware of that still has a dining room option, especially after 2020. Given the thinness of the pie, you may need to reheat in the oven if choosing carryout and your drive is a bit further, but the pizza retains its flavor after a quick heat-up in the oven.

If you are looking for a pizza that's a bit different than the typical chain experience, I highly recommend trying Cassano's. Friendly staff and an exceptional pizza at a price that is in line with what you are...
