If you haven’t yet tried The taste of the Mediterranean grill near TAFB, you’re truly missing out on a hidden gem. This place absolutely deserves more than 5 stars!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, genuine smiles and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family from the owners themselves. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming making the dinning experience so wonderful.

But let’s talk about the real star: the food. It’s nothing short of spectacular. Everything we tried was bursting with bold, rich flavors that truly transport you straight to the heart of the Mediterranean. Whether it’s the perfectly seasoned shawarma, the tender kabobs, melt in your hand falafel or the fresh, vibrant hummus and amazing baklava— everything tastes like it was crafted with care and tradition. You can tell these recipes have roots and history. It’s the kind of food that stays on your mind long after the meal is over.

The portions are also extremely generous — you’re not just paying for quality, but quantity as well. I always leave full, satisfied, and with leftovers I can’t wait to enjoy tomorrow!

I ordered my office team lunch today with delivery via Door Dash. Not all of our items were delivered. I attempted to contact the Dasher who never responded via phone or text in the app. I called the restaurant and inquired if items were left behind. The restaurant assured me that all of the items in our ordered were carefully packed and double checked. I could tell from our receipt that items were checked off as they were double checked from the kitchen to the counter. I believe the restaurant. They apologized despite the fact that it was not their fault.

They quickly prepared another order for us and personally delivered the food to our office. Not only is their food delicious... their customer service is next level. I mean no other restaurant takes this much care to ensure their customers have a good experience. Thank you Taste of Mediterranean... my office raves about your food and we appreciate the extra care taken today for our team.

We will surely order in the future and recommend your restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean cuisine. We will not use Door Dash for the delivery.

Today, I picked up an order of 40 pieces of falafel with hummus, and I was incredibly impressed—not just by the quality of the food, but by the generosity of the owner. Without charging me, they graciously included tahini and hot sauce with my order, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.

I brought the food to a breakfast gathering with friends in Vallejo, and it was a huge hit. Everyone was raving about how delicious everything was. The falafel was perfectly made—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—and the hummus was smooth and flavorful. The taste was truly authentic, just like the falafel back home, and clearly made with care and love.
