My wife and I had been following the Tea House in our neighborhood and were very excited. We went just as the sun was setting and the vibe was wonderful, peaceful, happy and soothing. The service was excellent and was great meeting William, the owner and hearing about his plans. The food and drinks were tremendous. For food we had 3 different nigiri, the special Udonn bento and a Japanese cheesecake.. we wanted to try a lot! I’m a sucker for udon and the broth was exceptionally rich and delicious. I also loved the salad dressing that had peanut or sesame base and the potatoe salad with the bit of a kick! Our server, May, was very friendly and attentive as well. Read morethe inside of the cafe is absolutely adorable! the music was soft and calming and the decorations were simple but still super cute. i got the renge, onigiri set, cheesecake. the renge tasted more like milk than matcha but i didnt mind because it was still good. i got the plum, salmon, and tuna onigiri. they were pretty big. i loved the salmon and the tuna! the plum wasn’t my taste, but my brother really liked it. i loved the cheesecake too, the texture was super satisfying and so was the taste. the prices were good, too, i think it was $10 for the onigiri set? my only complaint is that we waited about 20 minutes, but i understand because this cute little teahouse only opened 2 days ago. i can’t wait to try everything...
