My wife and I had been following the Tea House in our neighborhood and were very excited. We went just as the sun was setting and the vibe was wonderful, peaceful, happy and soothing. The service was excellent and was great meeting William, the owner and hearing about his plans. The food and drinks were tremendous. I had the Tokyo Fog Latte and some Oolong tea while my wife had the lemonade with strawberry compote. For food we had 3 different nigiri, the special Udonn bento and a Japanese cheesecake.. we wanted to try a lot! I’m a sucker for udon and the broth was exceptionally rich and delicious. I also loved the salad dressing that had peanut or sesame base and the potatoe salad with the bit of a kick! Our server, May, was very friendly and attentive as well. Excited just bring my laptop here and get a pot of tea to work from a wonderful new neighborhood spot and come with my wife in the evenings. Can’t wait for the grand opening and the future plans!!!

I went with a friend of mine on their opening day and we had a great time. We got the hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows which was delicious and not too sweet. We split the onigiri trio for $10 which was a really amount of food. We each got our own salted salmon which we both enjoyed the most, and would recommend. The onigiri was freshly made to order and warm. You can’t get onigiri within 50 miles or so of New Bedford so this is really exciting for the area. We also split a little apricot tart with whipped cream which was quite tasty and also not too sweet. Great service and a very cute cafe atmosphere. We are excited to return and try their bento offerings and other drinks!

This is a lovely little spot. The chef/owner is an absolute star, his food at his last location and now this tea house is phenomenal. Honestly the best miso soup I've had in my life. The Tsubaki and London Fog drinks are my favourite so far, and I've loved the vegetarian onigiri I've had there. The bento boxes look great and the people I've been with have been blown away by the food. As people have said, the service is a bit slow when they are busy, but I get the impression they are still ironing out how to streamline their processes in the new place. The atmosphere and people are so pleasant, I don't mind waiting anyway!

the inside of the cafe is absolutely adorable! the music was soft and calming and the decorations were simple but still super cute. i got the renge, onigiri set, cheesecake. the renge tasted more like milk than matcha but i didnt mind because it was still good. i got the plum, salmon, and tuna onigiri. they were pretty big. i loved the salmon and the tuna! the plum wasn’t my taste, but my brother really liked it. i loved the cheesecake too, the texture was super satisfying and so was the taste. the prices were good, too, i think it was $10 for the onigiri set? my only complaint is that we waited about 20 minutes, but i understand because this cute little teahouse only opened 2 days ago. i can’t wait to try everything...

Have you ever gone out for food with a friend and wish you could enjoy each other’s company over a slow meal without the pressure American culture brings to leave so you’re table can seat the next customer? The rush to finish dining, to order multiple entrees in order to spend more time, and the expectation to leave within a timely manner? Well this place is a world away from that. It welcomes traditional Japanese culture and invites you to savor the space and your time in a fully immersive experience. Something the SouthCoast has been gifted with and is a breath of fresh air from the day to day. I look forward to every visit and experience here welcomed by smiling faces, a warm atmosphere, and quality time with...
