Good locals bar downstairs. Function hall upstairs. Karaoke every Thursday and Saturday night, from 930 to close. Mostly a locals bar for Fairhavenites. The friendly crowd spans all generations [21+]. I visited Town Crier about 14 years ago and keep returning. Food and drinks are both good and reasonably priced. The bartenders get very busy sometimes, so you may have to wait for a drink. But, overall they are friendly and on top of things. Got a draft sams summer ale that tasted absolutely horrible.Ordered clam cakes as a appetizer they were raw in the center with uncooked dough. Burger and fries were decent. Got the bill was overcharged for drinks. I wouldn't recommend going here to eat or having any beer on tap. If I could Give negative stars I would. the waitress was both rude and abrasive.
