I went to the donut factory today and to say I had a really bad experience is an understatement. The girl taking my order was walking around eating while preparing my food and drink order. Which was disgusting, but I said nothing. I was a little disappointed that I could not get the drink I ordered because the “espresso machine was down.” Next, she could not find the three linguica and cheese rolls I ordered and was extremely unprofessional walking around with no sense of urgency. But I remained quiet and did not say a thing. I paid and asked for a receipt and she let me stand there for several minutes without telling me that it was texted to me. Then, to add insult to injury, she up straight called me out asking if I “had a problem.” That she was sensing a “vibe.” I simply said: I could not get the drink I wanted, you are walking around eating while preparing food, and you couldn’t find the food I ordered. But no I don’t have a problem She called me rude right in front of the owner and other customers. It turns out she is the owners daughter (I could immediately tell by her strong sense of entitlement, poor work ethic, and her negative behavior). That is why she thinks it is ok to walk around and act so UNPROFESSIONAL. The owner just said sorry… I got a refund and I will not be going back there. I did not feel welcome. Word of advice— your customers are the reason why your business makes money. Maybe you shouldn’t treat people like garbage, especially those who are regulars and come every weekend. Very disappointed...
Read moreWe were excited to go here because it seemed they had a great selection online. Got a large order including 4 iced quakes @ $9.99 each. I thought they would be actually shake- like but they were really only drinks that were not frozen at all. When they handed them to us, they were so messy and the toppings were melting everywhere- the lady handing them to us just said "they're melting" rudely. No attitude to clean them up a bit. They were all over the sides and the toppings just falling off,, I had to clean them up so my kids could take the cups. It definitely wasn't a hot day or anything so it makes me wonder if the ingredients were kept at the right temperature. Nobody finished theirs because they really didn't taste good at all. Not as big of a selection as stated online. The donuts looked good, but so many of them were just sitting out on the counter in the open near the customers- not behind glass or anything. No masks being used by staff or most patrons so we opted against the donuts. I get it's not mandatory in MA anymore but come one, they literally can be coughed or sneezed on by anyone. The place was a mess as well. Counters not wiped down, boxes everywhere. The employees were all so rude as well. They seemed bothered by our large 5 drink order, and they were not friendly at all. It was a very disappointing experience. We frequently go to this area and were hoping to come back but I think we will find somewhere else to spend our money. The only positive was the small tables outside...
Read moreSo… I’ve always wanted to try something from here. We came in once and the people at the counter didn’t acknowledge us or speak to us so we left. Sunday I was about to drive by and said screw it! I’ll get all my friends some donuts. All I’ve seen posted is $20 for a dozen donuts, Which in my opinion is pricey but from the pictures I’ve seen on Facebook I’m sure it was worth it. I go in, Pick out twelve donuts which took a while all in all because they don’t have boxes that fit all twelve. The lady rings me up and as she’s doing it I’m wondering it’s taking so long to cash me out, Do they not have a “Dozen donuts” option on the pos system? Weird. “Your total is $78”. I froze. Now there’s a line of people behind me. 😅 So I paid because I didn’t want to have to tell the older woman that was doing all this to put all twelve donuts back because I was mistaken about the price. So I paid and left. I thought I was crazy spending $20 on donuts, Let alone almost $80. Granted the donuts were very good. Not something I could eat a lot of. Very rich tasting, But everyone loved them. Told them they better be the best donuts in the world for what I paid. So. Fun fact, The $20 for a dozen means $20 for a dozen of their regular donuts I guess? Don’t get fooled 🤣 and for the record I do understand the speciality donuts cost more for a reason. I’m not bashing. Just me personally I could never justify spending that much for donuts lmao I almost had a...
