The Rescue Cafe — Restaurant in Fairhaven

The Rescue Cafe has such a cozy, comforting and welcoming atmosphere. There is even a living room to cuddle up in, theres couches and comfy chairs to relax in while you enjoy your fresh baked pastry and coffee. There was a very wide variety baked goods to choose from, and a bunch of different drink options too. I got a lot of food items to try and they were all so delicious. I asked for a food recommendation and the employee was so kind, and really took their time guiding me to a treat they truly thought I’d love… and I did!! The coffee was great too, I got it whipped(no extra charge) and it was seriously so good. The line moves quick, the workers are all so kind, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is so warm. My favorite part though… is the prices!!! So affordable! I got 2 large drinks(smoothie and coffee) and 3 big baked goods for 20 dollars. Rescue Cafe has the best coffee ever! The owner Joni is a coffee wizard! If you are looking for a good coffee and maybe a sweet treat to go with it then this is definitely the place to go. They have a great atmosphere, great drinks, treats, smoothie bowls, and even shaved ice. Portion of sales go to Care Southcoast! I mean can it get better than that? You get to treat yourself while helping a great cause. There are so many flavors of coffee to choose from. I recommend the rolo, white pistachio, and fall day. If you are a coffee lover ask about the whipped coffee. For treats definitely try the Blueberry cream cheese danish, muffins, chocolate chip cookies and popovers. You won't be disappointed! Since discovering the Rescue Cafe it has become my clear, #1, go-to for coffee (cappuccinos, lattes and more), pastries (the cannoli danish.. insert Homer Simpson drooling sound here), smoothies and of course, Hawaiian shaved ice.. and if it's not too busy, a good conversation with the staff as well.
