Sam And Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Fairhaven

We ordered for delivery at 6:32, and were told it would be 45 minutes. it didn’t arrive until 7:45. It’s a Friday so I get the delay, but still.

The food however, is not excusable.

We ordered a bbq chicken pizza with NO onions. When we opened the box It had as much onion as chicken. The chicken used must be marinated in large batches because it was the same seasoning as the chicken in my salad and did not go well drowned in the bbq sauce that was poured on AFTER it had been cooked leaving it soggy and unappetizing.

We also got a grilled chicken salad… the pita bread was burned and there was a hair in the salad! I’ve shared a photo.

Lastly we got a burger that was still pink on one side? It must have been on the edge of the grill

The only part of our meals that was enjoyable were the French fries that came with the burger. the free cheese pizza was okay.

I'll try anything new and when I heard this place just opened up - we had to try it. The owner or person at the cou ter was very nice and very passionate about the pizza. We ordered a cheese pizza and an onion pizza. Both large. I want to say about 15 dollars each. They weren't cheap with the onions. The thing that stands out the most to me is the crust. It's clearly made in house and hand stretched. The crust is fantastic. The sauce is more muted than other places, which I liked and the cheese is piled on thick. We received a menu in the mail and tried it last weekend with our family of 6. Everyone loved their food. Everything was made perfectly and just as we ordered, even though it was a big order. This week we wanted to order again and again, every person in my family loved their meals.
