Taco Bell — Restaurant in New Bedford

I am a picky eater, i start by saying this because apparently that's not OK these days. any who, i rarely go out to eat any place and get the food as its ordered, i usually have some customization going on... but I don't understand how hard it is to both follow directions and instructions that are displayed on a screen, i worked for taco bell nearly 12 years ago it was my first job and i recall the standards were a lot better, the 85 coggeshall st location is operated by young adults who care nothing for the customers or the food they serve. 3 times just this month (i love taco bell) Ive gone through drive through and ordered around 10 dollars worth of food, all of it usually customized , nothing too fancy like remove beef add steak, no lettuce. not rocket science. yet they cant seem to either understand me or get it right, even when its printed right on the receipt... so clearly its displayed properly on the monitor above the line. The last two times i went there i called back to complain cause i discovered the errors when i got home... the manager was rude to me on the phone and dismissive of my complaint. giving some stupid excuse that what i had customized my order to be was a lot like another item on the menu... that's why it was made that way... i didn't order the other item though... why was that item prepared and not the item i ordered... i shouldn't have to check my orders before i leave the location they should be able to follow my instruction and prepare my food correctly....so that when i arrive home i can just eat it and not have to call the store, then contact corporate and type out an angry review to get my point across. So now im out about 45 dollars this month on wasted food. yes i could drive back there and waste another 10 minutes to get there and 10 to get back, but i shouldn't have to. i would avoid the 85 coggeshall st location at all cost, its easy to drive another 10 mins to the other location in fairhaven for properly prepared food the way...

Since I've had problems at this location in the past with staff insisting that a bean burrito has rice in it, we checked our food before leaving. When we first opened one of the bean burritos we thought it was beef and then realized it was just cold dried out beans, same thing in the other 3 and there was barely 2tbs of ingredients in each burrito and like 5 cinnamon twists per order. I went in and asked for a refund because the last time I had a problem the same manager was on and he just wanted to argue and tell me that's how burritos are made.

I asked for a refund and told the manager the food was cold and had hardly anything inside, he insisted that they keep their food hot so there was no way it was cold and that they're only allowed to put so much in a burrito. I wish I wasn't so aggrevated and remebered to take pictures. I have been going to Taco Bell's for over 30 years, I think I can say I know what the food should look like. I will no longer go to Taco Bell on Coggeshall and either go to Dartmouth or Faorhaven, like I did last night. The Fairhaven staff were friendly, fast and my food was hot and made correctly. I avoid going here whenever I can but you know how it is when you need your bell, sometimes I wind up at this location - I live nearby. Service is not actually terrible and the place has been clean when I've gone in, the complaint here is that these guys are pretty slow. I don't know what it is about this location but it takes 15 minutes minimum with nobody else in line to get your food. One time I ordered on the app and when I got there they were like " oh sorry we ran out of food ", no phone call nothing, I just showed up and was asked if I'd like to place another order. Just like 5 minutes ago I got my order at the drivthru and the guy forgot my sauce, THE SAUCE! At Taco Bell? What's the point now? My girlfriend is driving and she won't turn around so I guess I'll just have a bland naked egg taco whatever. I'm pretty salty about this current sauce situation that's what inspired this review but it probably would have happened eventually anyway.
