Showed up at 6am or so, ordered 3 coffees and a lg iced coffee and 3 breakfast sandwiches. Kudos to the kid at the counter taking the order, evidently he was fighting a cold, but he was there working. And he made sure he washed his hands. Every time he had to blow his nose, or he sneezed. But the sad part of the visit was that there was like six people in the kitchen and I saw a manager it looks like floating around in the back.
They had a busy drive-through line, which is why I decided to go inside for us. They had an older lady at the drive-through window, and she seemed like she kept getting confused or they were just making mistakes, they were all very razzled, and we’re not working cohesively. the manager was not out there, making sure that they were in sync.
Well, the two guys were making the sandwiches. The other three girls were going around making coffees, but while I stood there, waiting for stuff, you could just see that they were not working in sync when the guy brought the sandwiches over I asked for a bag and he looked around and said somebody else would have to get it, when I finally got one of the girls attentions And asked her if she went to right where the guy was standing and grabbed a bag. So seem like he was useless.
I took a sip of the iced coffee while I was standing there, and I could already tell it wasn’t made right but at that point I was too frustrated to start complaining. The sandwiches were made messy but fine they got put back together at home but all the coffees had huge amounts of coffee grounds in them.
This was by far the worst Dunkin experience I’ve ever had and I don’t live in this area, so maybe this is common for this particular location, but where I live in Ohio this would never had been ok. I’ve never had coffee where the grounds were in it like this, and I know there’s recipes they follow, so I know the iced coffee wasn’t made right.
Would highly suggest that the owner of the franchise spend some time in there or motivate that manager to take a more active role with the staff. Due to the area I know it’s very limited on choices, but eventually people are going to not want this kind of service.
They also had very limited coffee cups or coffee out to purchase, no OJ or Apple Juice in the cooler. Had made a visit a day or two earlier and the guy at night did great. Was trying to train a new guy but was very patient and apologetic to me because he was answering drive thru and the counter. Seems like the location just needs some TLC and oversight. The business is there right now. If not enough staff would suggest reviewing your pay standards and such. Spent $75 dollars in 3 days while down here helping parents, but next visit may not, hopefully it...
Read moreThe food and drink orders are most of the time always done wrong. Hard old doughnuts. I mostly go in the evenings after work. The coffee tastes like old tar. The staff is impatient and not professional at all. There is a guy (wears glasses and is possibly bald) that works there in the evening hours who is very not patient with customers when his co-workers make a mistake and mess up an order. He basically throws food at the issue of a messed up order and walks away after a fake apology. Then yells at whom ever made the mistake. Seems a bit frustrated and aggravated with his co workers. Other workers there take their sweet time with giving out the orders once they’re taken. I’ve had a few times where the drinks were spilled in my vehicle due to not secure lids. There is a female worker there very young who is also evening shift who seems a bit high always and can’t seem to understand the process of taking orders and then delivering the same as what was ordered. This is the worst fast food place in all of Fairmont. The night shift is horrible old and nasty food and drinks. I’ll be making the extra trip to the one located in White Hall until the one in town learns how to teach their evening/night staff just how to serve food that isn’t old and nasty. And how to serve people without having an attitude of being bothered by doing their job. And they should fire a few of the workers. And replace them with people who actual want to work. Mainly the evening/night shift. And definitely who ever the gentleman with the...
Read moreThe Manager is rude. His customer service skills are poor. I will not go back to this location. Some of his staff are really nice others when working with him especially are not. He told his staff to ring me up for a sandwich I didn’t order. Because he didn’t want me to order a plain English muffin and a Side of beyond sausage. That of which he had already increased the price of. Which was fine from $1 each to $2 for the sausage portion. $3 for the English muffin and sausage together. Which is a good price point when not having egg and cheese like the “sandwich” has for $4. But he freaked out when I went through to order it. When I asked her for a refund since I didn’t order what they charged me for she got the manager who had an attitude. Then gave me back my money. He said he is “trying to run a business”. He also said I was “trying to order a “sandwich” without the “sandwich””. Lol. No the difference is I would like to order my food without paying for the portion I am not ordering and he isn’t using in the order. So he isn’t using the food and I am not out the money for the food he is keeping. He is going to run that location into the ground with his rudeness while he runs off customers. So sad. No longer a go to for me! I was there daily. I will go to other locations with better managers. Or to a different place all together now with the closest locations not being in fairmont. Sad because I really enjoyed their new food and...
