Say-Boy Restaurant — Restaurant in Fairmont

I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt 4 times and each time is the same outcome. Today I got a salad that was nothing but brown lettuce and when it was brought up the waiter just said I'll go ahead and just take it. We had to ask for the things that were supposed to come with our meal like bread and ask for drinks. When we got to the counter to pay and were asked how it was and we said it wasn't the best they responded with what tip would you like to leave. Honestly seems like the employees are trained not to care if they provide poor service or mediocre food that is brown and wilted. Or even better the last time we were there we got the chicken dinner with chicken that had no meat on it and when we asked they said that's just how it is when we could see others who had the same thing and it was 3x the size of ours. We asked them to take it back because it wasn't good and there was no meat on it and they still made us pay for it! We didn't even eat it because there was nothing there and they still made us pay. We will never go back here again. Mediocre food and horrible management who could care less about their dinners. Would give 0 stars if I could....

I went here last night for my Birthday, and ordered a sirloin chopped..Most of us think well it's cut in pieces and that's what I wanted with onions,peppers, and mushrooms, and a side of mashed potatoes.Well to my surprise I got a steak patty that was not what I wanted, and the mashed potatoes were instant and cold with no flavor at all. I waited 10 mins for my waiter to come back and he never did, so I had to flag down another one who in turn called a lady over who took my complaint and stated it happened to her with the same meal (Speaking of the Steak) She took my new order and left after another 15 mins, my waiter still didn't return and finally when he did he filled the tea and left saying it would be done in a min., so after another 5 full mins. I called the lady who took it away and told her to put it in a to go box. Finally after another 5 min wait my waiter brings it to me with a check to pay for $38.04 I paid and left.. I am very disappointed in the service I got, this was my first visit and it was my last.. So sad that such a good place has such...

We used to go to their restaurant that got burned down some time ago and recently found out they had relocated here on Country Club Road. Right before the former restaurant burned down, their food was just not the same but we thought now that they have moved, we will try this recently opened one. We were both greatly disappointed, the Jambalaya was in a small bowl like, 2 pieces of shrimp and 4 half slices of sausage, mostly rice with red beans and didn't taste like the Jambalaya we knew. If that wasn't a disappointment, I ordered spaghetti, came with sour cream like bread (no garlic bread) and no meatballs but the sauce was made with ground beef and some CHEAP tomato sauce. This plate was 98% left at the table. For $30.80 for 2 people and be served near rot gut food, we both left not only greatly disappointed but vowing we were done with Say-Boy. It just galls my inner soul for people to think they can serve this kind of food to people. I'll bet they won't last long at this place, or at least I hope not so that other people don't get ripped...
