What a welcome taste of the Middle East to North Central WV! We had Muofawar, Black Yemeni Tea, and a piece of coconut cake. They were all fantastic! The coffee and tea both had a very rich flavor, and the cake was decadent and moist. Such a great flavor experience. This is such a great break from the typical coffee shops that only serve variants of steamed milk flavored concoctions (though they offer these, too!) The essence of spice was mildly present in the air and the flavors were reminiscent of the shops and bazaars I’ve visited in the Middle East. Be sure to stop her following your trip to Zharas and enjoy their authentically spiced beverages and desserts. I also love that they are part of the East Side and Palatine revival that is bringing new life to Fairmont. The prices were fair and the service was personal, even asking how much sugar I took with my coffee. Well done!

Service- 3 stars- friendly but some employees there seem to have a little difficulty with English. Can be slow sometimes due to shortage of staff. I believe it’s a family owned business. Food- 5 stars- I got the iced caramel macchiato with light sugar and it was perfect- so smooth. Also got the pistachio milk cake- this was a first time trying this cake and it was so moist and light. Loved this desert. They have an assortment of Yemen coffees and deserts. Highly recommend!!!!

What an addition to “the Friendly City” ! We love the Yemeni Coffee Hut! The coffee options are very unique and flavorful. Definitely not something you’d get anywhere else. The owner is always welcoming and makes suggestions if requested. Good music is always playing which makes the coffee shop vibe top tier. What a sublime place to spend an afternoon with friends!

My wife and I went there today. I went in treating it like it was "just another coffee shop" . I told the person at the counter what I wanted and he said : "No no no, try this instead" So... when in Rome.... That's what I did.

We got ours to go. He took a lot of time to prepare... its not just a typical coffee experience. great service and awesome presentation... Ok then I tasted it.... JEEEEZ!!!!!!!!!! He said it was Mofawar... I have no idea what that is, but this is best hot drink I think I have ever had. Drinking it now and sad it's almost gone :( I will...
