Picadillo Bistro — Restaurant in Fajardo

I had been to this place before and the food decent. The customer service was ok then. However; I went a few days ago with visiting guest. The guy that was taking us to the table dropped all the menus and my 10 year old daughter picked them up for him. He didn’t even say thank you. We waited at the table for 10 mins and no one came to offer water or to say they would be with us shortly. They were not that busy. Instead of coming to us, the workers decided to stand around in a corner and then proceeded to wiping down some tables. Worst customer service I have experienced at a restaurant. We had a wonderful breakfast at Picadillo Bistro on our first morning in Fajardo. Their menu is in Spanish on one side and English on the other. I have to stick to a gluten free diet, but their oatmeal was delightful and my cafe mocha was in presented very nicely in a glass mug, showing the different layers of coffee and chocolate (you stir it up before you drink it). I also had "Barbados Cherry" (Acerola) juice, which was wonderful and is my new favorite. My husband had very tasty pumpkin pancakes (the presentation was outstanding, too) with bacon and eggs. The waitstaff were extremely friendly and very professional. This place has everything 🫣 The restaurant has a centralized and easy to find location and it's located in a small mall with ample parking. I visited with my family on a Sunday morning. The interior is elegant, from the layout to the staff's uniforms. The food was beautifully presented and very delicious. I split their Cariduro sandwich with someone in my party and it was plenty of food. The sandwich was stuffed with meat, the aioli was very flavorful and I think was the cause for the delicious garlic aroma, and the hefty side of curly fries was a good accompaniment.
