Roger's Coney Island Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Fall River

Food was very average but edible although the menu had a large selection of items to choose from. There is a HUGE issue here with menu prices. After having received the check it was apparent that two of the items that were ordered were more than four dollars more than the price on the menu. When asking the waitress why this was the case, we were told and shown in small print at the bottom of the menu, " that prices were subject to change. " We were informed that there were not enough of the newer menus with revised prices. This could easily have been remedied by telling the servers to inform customers that the menu may not reflect the correct price for the meal. This could also have been fixed by using white out or something of that nature and write in the new prices on the old menus. So this is obviously misleading to customers and poor business practices. For a business that has been around for such a long time you would think they would know better. This is very deceptive and unfortunate that a simple solution has not been put into place. The only reason for any star at all was for one of the servers who was very attentive. The original waitress waiting our table completely forgot to write down one of the items and requires lots of customer service training. She awkwardly greeted our table after we had to greet her first, did not inquire how the food was, and disappeared when looking to get a refill. Do not...

I've been going to Rogers for 15 plus years and by far had the worst experience of my life today. When you walked in there were four tables sat in the whole restaurant and a whole bunch of workers standing around doing nothing. There was a sign that said wait to be seated yet we waited for 5 minutes for the waitress to finish her conversation that she was having with a customer before she made eye contact with us and told us to seat ourselves. Trying to find a clean table was the next feat finally I took out my baby wipes of my own personal use and wiped down a table and a high chair. Then when the waitress did come over she spoke to my mother and my children and I as if we were inconveniencing her . after getting our drinks it then took 14 minutes before a different gentleman came over asked if we had our order was taken yet we told him no and then he took our order. again it was not busy at all upon receiving our order we were never asked if we needed anything else we were never checked up upon to see if the food was okay ( which the chicken tenders were overcooked to the point of being rocks) . This place was disappointing. My coworker and I decided to give it another shot now that it was under new ownership. Previously we just weren't a fan of the service and it looks like nothing has changed besides the increase in prices. My coworker ordered an omelet with cheese and a hot dog. First, the omelet came without any cheese. Then his hotdog never arrived. We were there for about an hour and it just never showed up at the table. I can see if maybe the place was busy, but it was not. How long does it take to make a hot dog and bring it to the table? Not to mention the service was horrible. Our waiter kept saying he would bring the hot dog out but like I said, he never showed with it. Secondly, he was indifferent when questioned when the hot dog would arrive. The cashier was also really rude as if I was ruining her day by cashing out. So all in all, this place continues to be a disappointment. My biscuits and gravy was alright but the experience of eating there made the whole event miserable.
