Royal Pizza — Restaurant in Fall River

So, we lived in Fall River for 3 years and only after leaving Fall River for RI did we finally try Royal Pizza...it was served during a church event. BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!! I grew up eating old school Papa Gino's and you know how when you're a kid there's certain flavors you remember that just can't be beat. Well Royal Pizza annihilated that flavor-memory (Flavmory, that's right I just made that up!). Ever since we tasted Royal Pizza's Pepperoni Pizza, there was no turning back. No other pizza could even come close to competing. Week after week we found excuse after excuse to drive ALL THE WAY from Greenville RI to Fall River. Usually my wife and I would split a small pepperoni pizza, sometimes splurging for a large BUT no matter what we ordered. We always parked our car right there in the lil plaza and would DEVOUR the deliciousness that was hidden in every one of those boxes. Look I've had a ton of pizza in my life so far, and I'm always one to want to get the BEST I can get whenever money needs to be spent. Royal Pizza is worth every single penny of our hard earned money. The crust is always fresh, crunchy, and just the right amount of fluffiness. The sauce, oh GOD bless them for their sauce profile, it's everything I want my pizza to taste like. The cheese compliments everything so well, the pepperonis are authentic. The magic though is when it all comes together to make the PERFECT SLICE. Unmatched, oh-so-tasty, and just deliciously greasy. Yes dare I say it a second time: BEST PIZZA EVER! Why are you still reading this, GO call them, head over and do yourself a favor...eat it right then and there. You'll thank me but please thank them. I started a 6 week Nursing contract in the area of Fall River so I googled food near by and came across this place. I got the pizza one day it was good. Then I ordered the BLT another day, it was completely wrong I figured that it was a misunderstanding, I let it go. I ordered the BLT again another day and specified clearly what I wanted on it, it was completely wrong again. The woman working there went to go fix my sub when I realized that she did not have gloves on. I asked her about it and she said that they never wear gloves, she said "that's how we do things here. We wash our hands in between orders." I looked at her like she had 5 heads because I don't understand this logic ESPECIALLY in 2022 with COVID, Monkey pox and etc. going around. As a Nurse I know that hand washing is the #1 way to prevent transmission of germs, diseases, bacteria etc. She looked annoyed but applied the gloves on. So while I waited for my sub there was soooo many orders taking place, a lot of customer interaction, exchanging money, answering the phone etc. and not ONCE did I see ANYONE wash their hands, absolutely absurd! So I finally got my sub and it was wrong again. I went to tell them that I was missing a condiment and the other woman that works there had a very condescending tone/attitude, I was very uncomfortable, she gave me the item that was missing. I have never in my life went through so much bs like this before, I was appalled. I threw the sub out and ended going to Shaw's next door so grab something there. I don't care about the money, at this point all trust is...

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE!

We were told 30 minutes for our food and mistakenly tipped the driver ahead of time. One hour later we still didn't have our dinner so we called and were told that "the driver is walking out the door right now". 25 minutes after that, still no food and we are literally down the street for this place. At this point all the kids are crying for their pizza...

FINALLY the food arrives and we find out we got the wrong salads, no bread, and the pizza is cold and sticking to the boxes.

We call back to request a refund for this gross food and receive no apology whatsoever. He says he can only refund us if the driver comes BACK after his deliveries and picks up the food but the kids don't care that it's cold so they've already started eating. The adults, not so much.

Voiced our opinion on how poor the customer service was and still no apology. Instead the managers fights us regarding the amount of time we waited.

Definitely NEVER ordering...
