I had a fantastic experience at this Chinese restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. Me and a group of co-workers ordered 5 party trays at this place and we were all satisfied with the taste of the food. I would like to recommend three dishes from this restaurant listed below.
The shrimp fried rice was absolutely delicious – perfectly seasoned, with generous portions of tender shrimp and just the right amount of wok-charred flavor. You can tell it was made fresh and with care. The fried chicken wings were a standout – super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The wings also come with mambo sauce which is exactly what I was looking for. They came out hot and perfectly cooked, just the way I like them. And the crab rangoon? Easily some of the best I’ve had – crispy, golden wrappers filled with creamy, savory filling that had the perfect hint of sweetness.
Overall, great service, clean environment, and amazing food. I’ll definitely...
Read moreThis place has been our family’s go to Chinese take out since we were children. We’ve always ordered egg rolls, egg foo Yong and Lo mein together and we were never disappointed. This is my first time to try their food after they changed management and of all the things we ordered, the egg foo Yong was very disappointing. It tasted like uncooked flour batter with eggs and filling. I was shocked because this is my first time to ever try it this way and it wasn’t good at all. Before, it would be eggs and the filling without the flour batter and that’s what I loved about it. The egg foo Yong was my favorite from this place and now, I don’t think I’d ever order it from there again. Basil fried rice with chicken - first time to try, good! Egg rolls, good! Spring rolls, good! Beef Lo mein, good! Chicken dumplings, fried, good Pork egg foo Yong - very disappointed with the flavor...
Read moreHadn't done Chinese takeout/delivery in years because quality was poor - but ordering from Grand Hunan was a delight! The entrees were particularly good (Kung Pao chx, chx with basil). Spiced as we requested though I wonder whether we should have upped the spice on at least one (don't want make-u-cry and we have ways to up the spice). Good prices especially since portions were generous (leftovers for days). Chx and veggies cooked well. The rolls (we did shrimp) are really cheap but heavy - would order for a family to mimic the role of hush puppies at an all-you-can-eat seafood restaurant. The price range I provided does not include delivery, taxes or tips.
We will...
