El Paraiso Restaurant y Taqueria — Restaurant in Fanning Springs

First and last time going here. Do NOT recommend. We went in and should have turned and walked right back out. Guys were at the table in the back blaring music thru the huge speaker. So loud at one point it scared the baby and the baby started crying. They still didn't turn it down. Way too loud to have any conversation. The waitress gave sweet tea when ordered Unsweet. When I told her she said they didn't have unsweetened then took the cup and didn't offer any other drink. My husband's food was wrong....things that were not on the menu were in the burrito. Once the food was dropped she never came back to ask how anything was so he didn't have a chance to order anything else. It was also kinda dirty and messy and a weird odor. We went because we've heard the good reviews but don't believe them. When we went to pay for the bill everything was higher priced then the menu. No one ever told us the prices changed before we ordered either. Such a disappointment. Waste of...

When I seen this little hole in the wall with menudo advertised out front I knew I had to go. I felt like I was in Mexico. The waitress was also cooking so don’t expect to be doted over this is a small establishment be patient with the workers because the food and atmosphere is what you’re there for. The place feels like you’re at your tias(aunts) house or a family gathering. My husband even converted to liking menudo he’s tried it 6+ times at other places and this place sold him. WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF I COULD. First they messed up my take out order. Then when I called back the lady on the phone got rude with me instead of saying she misunderstood and couldn’t understand what was said. (She did half of what I said so she in fact did hear my order right). She hung up on my face in the middle of me explaining to her that the order is still wrong and on top of that they never gave me my Queso to go with my nacho (after she stated cheese does come with it). 0/10 recommend.
