Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Fargo

We went here after a rough night earlier this week. We ordered a 6pc chicken strip basket, and 2 blizzards. Immediately at the counter, our cashier was super rude and didn't seem to know the menu at all. She checked us out and forgot multiple things from our order. We had to walk up to the counter to get our blizzards though dining in and found a blizzard to be missing. When food was made, the breading on the chicken strips was powdery and didn't even cover the whole strip 🤮 Not to mention there were only 5 strips in the basket. The bread included was soggy and not buttered. We were told they would bring new bread but did not. The manager only brought out a couple new chicken strips and it was atrocious to see how to fresh ones looked compared to the ones we were originally served. We had to go back and ask for our drink originally ordered and they were just upright rude about it. The gravy given to us was almost solid as well, and cold. When we asked the hospitality employee about all the errors, she seemed to react in a way that it was normal for the cashier to do this. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant...

Absolutely TERRIBLE Management!  We should have read the reviews at this location before coming here. It's funny how, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, there's absolutely nobody here. We thought the place was closed down.

We waited a bit for our blizzards as the lady that was making them was on her phone in the back and made it such an inconvenience to come to the front to make them. After making them, she would slammed them down on the counter.

The lady at the front counter ,which was the same lady making the blizzards( a heavier set lady with longer hair), was screaming at these customers because the new trainee made a mistake.

How unprofessional and alarming this was to watch. If you hate your job, best of luck to find another job.

Shame on you, Diary Queen, for hiring someone so angry to work at this location. If I were the owner here, she would be fired IMMEDIATELY!

Perhaps this is why this location has some seriously negative reviews.

P.S. Instead of replying to this review asking for another chance to your location, perhaps Diary Queen should be taking these reviews more seriously and hiring...

We had a drive through experience that was beyond ridiculous. The wait time was insane for 1 sandwich and a small blizzard, well over 20 minutes. Upon getting to the window, we had an employee that quite literally had the personality of a noodle. No smile, no have a nice day, just... blah. The pace of movement for a time that was starting to get busy as we were waiting was basically, like, sleeping. Zero enthusiasm for life at all, and no apologies for delayed service. Then there's personal hygiene... i used to work for dq so i know the shirts can get so dirty super fast.. but her hair was so greasy, and shoved into a hair tie on the neck, and forced under her visor was not hiding the fact that it was unkempt. Gross!! This location is almost always like this sadly. There is just zero sense of urgency. In that business gotta have some hustle. Food was good, i had a turkey blt and a small blizzard, both were correct to order, appropriate temps, etc. Napkins were given, and everything else was okay, but they have got to work on their customer...
