Northstar Coffee — Restaurant in Fargo

Unfortunately, I'm needing to change this 5 star review into a 2 star. This used to be mine and my bestie's favorite coffee place. We've tried multiple times within the last half a year to let them know that our coffees have been way too watery and they keep giving us WAY too much creamer when all we ask for is one splash. One splash should not take up 1/4 of our cup. Pair that with coffee that isn't as strong as it used to be, and you have yourself a water-logged dessert disaster instead of a fine cup of coffee that we used to get consistently for years. The majority of the time, we loop back around and ask them if they can possibly help us fix it, then they just give us cups of "coffee" that are BARELY any better than the disappointing ones we just had. So, we have officially given up. Nobody working there that we come across has given us any reasoning behind this drastic change after months of this, and unfortunately put hardly any work whatsoever into listening to their customers/improving. North Star should be at the top, for best coffee,in the FM area! I love my the cold brew with SF Caramel, SF Coconut and half and half, tastes like a Pina colada! They have lots of variety for all coffee and non coffee lovers! My kids get the brain freeze and have loved every kind they have gotten! Prices are reasonable, especially when u compare other places! Good coffee, great prices and awesome service! You may have to wait a little longer, they have 2 pull up windows, but that's because they do it right the first time! Oh and the Rice Krispy Treats are huge...

I think it might have even still been the 90s when I started going here and still tastes the best in town over 20 years later! Not really in this area too much, but thankfully they have the smaller spot on N University too! Nothing fancy for me, just coffee black with a couple shots of espresso and I'm good to goooooo!! I don't know where they source their beans from, but it has this slight velvety sweetness to it that's just....perfect! 5...
