La Flor De Mayo Taqueria is our go-to restaurant in Faribault. This small yet cozy spot, located in the old Faribault mall, serves some of the most authentic Mexican cuisine around.

As regulars, we have tried many dishes on the menu, but we always come back to the asada tacos, which are made with perfectly seasoned and juicy steak and served with fresh corn tortillas. This restaurant was okay. The food was good but not fantastic. Many items were not available because they ran out of the seafood or else these were weekend items. Looking at the menu online did not really help because that actually confused things more yet. The restaurant has quite a few tables that you can sit at for dine in. The nicest part about this was the attached grocery store where you can buy a lot of Mexican items. The price for mangoes and quality of mangoes is tremendously good and I highly recommend that. Just WOW, went to pick up my glasses at visionworks and could smell the food when I walked into the mall. Because I went hungry, after I got my glasses I ventured over to look at the menu. The Parrillada Personal stood out to me, waited about 10 minutes and after my first few bites I was hooked.
