The Broaster — Restaurant in Faribault

I always loved this place when I lived in town, so when I came back for a visit I was excited to come back for my favorites. I was really disappointed to be honest. I got a wheat roll with barely any butter- which isn't what they used to offer- it was always white with plenty of butter. The coleslaw was still fantastic. The shrimp were a little soggy and cold, and the tots were just ok. I really disliked the tiny sour tartar sauce they offer. Very hard to dip in, and even though I asked for extra, there was only 2 total and wasn't really enough for 9 shrimp. I also hated the fact that in this age of technology, we still have to sign our name on a receipt on a clipboard in a drive through. That felt really 80's. After eating, I felt sick to my stomach- which is odd because I usually have an iron stomach. I wonder if maybe the tartar sauce was bad or something. I guess it's a good thing I don't live around...

This is actually one of my all time favorite place to go out to eat in faribault. This restaurant has been around for many years in this town. If you are religious and love eating fish especially during lent you will love there 3 piece cod Diner. That is my favorite. Also if you love chicken sandwiches I suggest getting the grilled chicken breast sandwich my fiance gets this sandwich and she gets it every time we go and says it is the best juiciest sandwich she's...

I was told to come here for the chicken. I expected it to be amazing based on what I had heard from a coworker. I ordered two pieces of chicken, one piece of fish, and shrimp. The chicken was very juicy and crispy. The flavor was amazing. The fish and shrimp was good too. I was impressed with the prices and quality of food. Very good food and the price...
