The food was absolutely a delicious! They were very concerned about my gluten issues! They were sure to not do any cross-contamination! They were very, very amazing! I got the Mississippi pot roast sandwich on gluten-free bread. My husband got the Apple pulled pork on their regular bread, which was delicious! The potato salad is very heavy mayonnaise! My husband lived it, despite not even liking mayonnaise very much! The restaurant has a really cool setup! You order at the counter. You help yourself to the drinks and silverware, napkins and seat yourself somewhere inside the restaurant. The restaurant is a whole lot bigger inside than it looks like on the outside. The restaurant is very eclectic! It's very fun! They bring this food out to you when it's done, which is very quick! You clean up after yourself as well. We absolutely enjoy the food and would eat there again! The lighting in the restaurant is very nice! It has a lot of sunlight streaming through...
Read moreA solid 3.7. I was looking for a nice off the path spot for lunch and came across Over Yonder. I was not looking for something to truly delight my taste buds. I was just looking for a local spot to grab a good sandwich The sandwiches were just well balanced with flavors that compliment the variety of meat selections. The side pasta salad was just okay. It didn't add to or take away anything. For the price $14, the house made sandwich, side, and serve yourself tea/water I went in with an open mind. I would expect a WOW factor for the $14, yet I didn't find it. Truly, the best part of the sandwich is the bread. I got the Mississippi, pasta salad, and water.
It is a nice spot with limited openings time. No one here while here, music playing, and a quiet atmosphere.
If you haven't been here and you are the area, stop in. Sorry, it is just a one-time spot. I do not know that if I am ever here in the area that I will be...
Read moreYou know that moment when you're going home or grandma's house and you walk in the house to smell your favorite pie just fresh out of the oven or favorite meal still cooking in the stove. That special moment when you're transported through time and you are a kid again. You're walking through town hand in hand with your parents or high school sweetheart, not a worry in the world. All is right in the universe. I just discovered a place where you can walk back in time and revisit those memories with the smell of the food and the small town charm. Come and treat your palette with what Over Yonder had to offer. I had to ask if they had a Cuban refugee stowed away in back because the last time I had a Cubano sandwich this good was in little Havana in Miami, Florida. I give them 5 stars across the board. Their charm is deliberate and makes everyone feel at home. Thank you for lunch......
