First time visit today, was just looking for a good fattoush salad for lunch, but since I love a good falafel, I had to try that too... since it is in their name and all.
Seeing as it was a rainy Saturday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised by how busy they were, means the food must be good right? The line moved fast, the cashier was efficient and they had plenty of people working the food line behind the counter. I ordered a large fatoush salad and a 6 piece order of falafel, with a side of garlic sauce in place of the tahini. Just a personal preference for garlic sauce with falafel, cause I do like tahini as well. I'll try their tahini another day.
The salad was made fresh, and plenty of it. It felt like it weighed a ton! The falafel was the freshest I ever had.... they were making it for the crowd so it wasn't just sitting in a bin all day under a light like I've had from some other places.
Anyway, I had to try the falafal right away, and honestly it was amazing! Crispy on the outside, smooth on the inside, not a bit dry or crumbly. The flavor and consistency were both excellent. I then proceeded to eat all of them (with the yummy garlic sauce) while they were still hot. Maybe I should have waited for them to cool down a little, but we've all been there right? So tasty you don't want to wait. After finishing them all, and they were larger in size than other places I've had btw, I was content and no longer hungry. So my lunch salad got put aside for dinner.
The salad had an excellent mix to it, enough dressing to stay wet, and very flavorful. As I already said, it was a heavy salad, which is awesome and worth the price.
Bottom line, I'll go back! Looking forward to trying their shawarma, and maybe the...

UPDATE: I ended up going back a couple of days later and bringing my daughters with me. Once again the food and service was incredible. They make you feel welcome and like family. I ordered the bowl with chicken like I did last time and it was just as wonderful as the first time. We also ordered a dozen falafels. I'm used to a falafel being a bit dry and not that tasty, but that's not the case their falafels at the House of Falafel. They are handmade daily and are just incredible. The outside has a nice crunch to it, but the inside is soft and wonderful.
If you like hummus, garlic and a bit of spicy sauce try their OMG sauce on your bowl or wrap. It has a little kick to it. You'll smell like garlic for a day and nobody will be around you, but it's worth it.
You can customize your bowl or wrap. Think of it as kind of a Subway style where you go down the line and can tell them what you want on it. You have a variety of things to choose from to put on it. See the attached photo. Most of it other than the meat is Vegan friendly.
Be sure to get into their points deal where you can earn yourself a free bowl or wrap. All you have to do is give them your phone number.
I've been telling all my friends and family about this place. It's just that good. Stop reading this review and head over there. Tell David and Rania that John "Funny Bald Man"...
Read moreFirst time visiting for an event, and I truly felt welcomed from the moment I walked in! The place was busy, but thanks to their quick and friendly service, everything moved smoothly. I went with a friend, and the owner, Rania, greeted us warmly. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary large falafel each to try, such a thoughtful gesture!
I ordered the mini falafel bites with tahini sauce, and my order was ready in just 3 minutes. They came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside. The mini bites were the perfect size, even juicier than expected, and so easy to just gobble up. Honestly, one of the best falafels I've had! Also loved the little extra touch, I received their homemade Dubai chocolate along with the Yelp goodies. It was rich, unique, and absolutely worth trying. Don't miss it if you get the chance.
The service was friendly and fast, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. It's a great place if you're looking to grab something quick and tasty. Parking is shared with other stores in the plaza, but it wasn't an issue during my visit.
I'm so glad I could make it. We were in a bit of a hurry, so we grabbed our food and left quickly, but my friend and I have already decided to come back soon to explore the rest of the menu at leisure. Since I'm in the area weekly, I'll definitely be stopping by again.
Highly recommend for a quick, tasty bite and some warm hospitality. Definitely worth a visit if you're...
