Please donât get me wrong, my food tasted good- But youâre paying almost $15 for a lot of rice- ( pita bowl)I know that you get to add as many toppings as you want, but for someone whoâs not adding many of the finely chopped toppings, itâs pricey -I think if they doubled the protein, it would seem worth it.
The thin chicken breast is so finally chopped that it blends in with the rice and the veggies that I couldnât really taste the chicken- The toppings seem fresh. I like the taste of their white sauce and chipotle spicy sauce.
I was very impressed with the hummus, most places, even Middle Eastern restaurants make it taste too pasty, grainy and flat in flavor-The hummus was smooth, and definitely had salt in it. I like mine with a little lemon and garlic, but this at least tastes better than other places. I was surprised that as part of the combo, I received such a large portion which made the $4.50 up charge worth it- I prefer thicker pita chips
Very clean- The service was very good- I definitely will return and try a couple different other options - they get points for offering Pepsi, and that it was perfectly...

I do not eat out at all for almost 10 months since I quit food and Bev I literally used to make this kind of food for a living. I was a little disappointed about they're Tzatziki sauce. But the flavor of the gyro meat was spot on. Everybody was very friendly from the minute I walked in especially since I've never been there before. They explained it very well but you know 40 years working in the kitchen I have to know exactly the ingredients of what you use. They made me one free of charge which goes above customer service. I just got home and the sandwich was...
Read moreI love Pitaway (specifically the original Livonia location) but when I stopped in to this location Saturday evening, after looking at the other reviews, some good some bad, for example someone saying their chicken was not edible, well I believe that. A employee asked the manager infront of me, what the temperature of the chicken should be before its ready, she was poking this piece of chicken and instantly pulling out the thermometer. Its obvious the employee's at this location are NOT Food Safe Certified, or they wouldnt be misuing thermometers, and asking management when chicken is done cooking. Little to say I walked out before eating at this location....
