Mandalay Fusion — Restaurant in Farmington

First time trying this place. I Had the ka prow with beef and shrimp for take out. Food is very excellent and is a good sized portion with a good amount of fresh white rice, Especially for the price. Honestly this meal was so good it wasn’t what I usually order from else where but a good comparison to what I like and mm so good I am thoroughly impressed with mandalay fusion and this place really needs more recognition. The Rice wasnt sticky or old tasting, tastes very fresh. The dish it’s self tasted very fresh as well with good flavor. This place is great and even though I did take out, the atmosphere inside the restaurant when I picked up, seemed quiet and very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the order only took 15-20 minutes to be ready. I usually go to taste of Thai off the square cuz I love there food but this place will be a great new alternative to them when I don’t wanna drive from Farmington to Fayetteville. Ordered take out tonight, regrettably. Sweet and sour shrimp and spring rolls with plum sauce. The sweet and sour shrimp was very disappointing. The veggies were hot but undercooked. The carrots were basically raw and there was entirely too much onion. The rice was undercooked and chewy. The worst aspect of the meal was the shrimp. The texture was difficult to get past as they were very "wet" and gummy. Literally, the worst shrimp I've ever tried to eat. The spring rolls were fine but nothing to rave about ... just your typical frozen and then deep fried spring rolls. All 4 would have been eaten expect that you get 1 tiny container of plum sauce (maybe 2 tablespoons) so not enough for the full order of spring rolls. I've eaten here in the past and enjoyed my meal but I doubt I return. Paying almost $17 for a meal I had to force down...

This was our first time eating inside the restaurant. We have always had it to go, previously, due to the plandemic. We thought it was okay after taking it home and eating it, but definitely thought it was much better eating it at the restaurant. We got their appetizer sampler, general chicken and orange chicken. It was all very tasty. We will be back again to try something else. The owners (employees?) were helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Relaxed setting and great service. Update: We've eaten here many times since and everything we've ordered has been very tasty. All menu items can be ordered to your liking of spiciness. The waitress is exceptionally friendly and helpful when making decisions. It's always clean, the food is cooked fresh, and they have some yummy candy on the way...
