We started out with an appetizer of fried calamari which looked and tasted like frozen and it was overcooked. The only bright spot in this app was the tangy tartar sauce which was delicious. 3 out 10 for the calamari.
My wife had the chicken parm. The chicken was tender and well cooked and the (requested extra) mozzarella was plentiful. The pasta, however was stone cold and sticky with starch. It’s almost like the pasta was precooked and refrigerated and was not at least dunked in boiling water before plating. 6 out 10 (if the pasta had been properly prepared, 8 out 10)
I had the spicy shrimp Alfredo which had a great flavor with a good bit of heat which I really liked. The shrimp were very tender and well cooked. I would have given this dish a 9 or 10 had it not been for the sauce being a bit grainy like they used powdered parm rather than freshly grated parm. 7 out 10.
The complementary garlic bread was toasted and had plenty of butter, garlic and seasonings and was a nice addition to our meal. 9 out 10.
The service was superb with no complaints 10 out 10.
Overall, the flavors of the entrees were very good but they need to work on their basic techniques of pasta preparation and use a better quality cheese in their Alfredo sauce and for goodness sake, if you’re going to serve calamari, prepare it up fresh...
Read moreOrdered a large supreme, 2 beers, 2 waters which came out to $52 with tip. Service was mediocre, but super slow. After ordering, we waited 37 minutes for our pizza. The server never once came by after taking our order to see if we needed anything or refill our waters while we waited. It was a little busy when we got there but a majority of the people there had already eaten and were just hanging out. I had placed an order to go when I ordered the supreme pizza. It was for a personal cheese pizza and an appetizer of fried ravioli ($25 for those) which took another 15-20 minutes to get after we had paid. I know the location is small on the inside, but we were sat so close to the table beside us that we could hear their entire conversation even when they were speaking very low and I'm sure they heard us too. Way too cramped...
Read moreWell this was even better than I was expecting. They have a gluten-free pizza. It’s actually pretty good. I don’t like it as well reheated the next day.
My husband got an Alfredo that was awesome. The best sauce around .
It’s a nice place inside and out. We look really hard for places that are quiet . We were so glad to get to go sit outside for a quiet dinner . Until the sports tv came on. So outside is set up kind of like a sports bar I guess .
It seems like every restaurant is kind of bombarded with excessive noise . We are really looking for a nice quiet spot.
And indoors is a very high ceiling and ice room but the sounds echo a bit in there so it can seem a little loud for people with sensory issues .
But the food is...
