Godfather's Pizza in Farwell,Texas is a great place to go and get an old time favorite! Don't forget to stop in and get some of the delicious bakery goods that are also sold at this location. Right off the road if headed west to the left. The service is always very kind and the food is very good. I picked up some peanut butter cookies dipped in chocolate and they were awesome! Also picked up some chocolate sheet cake, which I am sure will be a favorite. Be sure to give this local shop a stop and a chance to service your pizza and bakery needs. Ordered 2 pizzas, one regular and one gluten free. Was given a time when they would be ready. Waited outside and at the appointed time went in and was told that to prevent cross contamination they couldn't cook both pizzas at the same time. (There isn't cross contamination in an oven.) Went back in again at the appointed time and was curtly told it would be several more minutes before it was ready. Needless to say the first pizza was cold before the second was ready. This was a quick stop for me on a long road trip back home. The little pizza was so delicious hot and fresh. I should have gotten two of them. I did get a cake and a cinnamon bun as well. The cake was a $1 day old cake which I ate a day or so later. It was red velvet with very good icing and pretty good flavor for it to be 'stale'. I gave the cinnamon roll away to my daughter. She didn't tell me how it was but it must have been good because she didn't complain. Very friendly service at this bordertown establishment.
