Went there the other day and ordered a small chocolate ice cream with Oreos and caramel toppings. The man asked me did I want a lid, and I said yes(it was hot and I was going to pull over and eat it in my car with AC to sneak and it eat before I picked up my kids) When he gave it to me the toppings were piled so high, you couldn’t see into the ice cream top at all! I thought, wow! They sure give you a lot of toppings and was pleased. I knew that I couldn’t eat it in my car without spilling it everywhere so i decided to eat it at a park before grocery shopping. I opened the top and stuff fell everywhere, I dig in, only to find out that it’s not only half melted(as you could imagine I wouldn’t be complaining about that part because I drove 5 minutes with it) but I was vanilla ice cream! I threw it away and took a picture, and called them. The lady, Asha, on the phone was COMPLETELY rude! She told me that if I didn’t bring the ice cream back then I wouldn’t get a refund/exchange. I threw the cup away in the trash because I can’t come back up there today it would have to be the next day because I had to go pick up my kids. I told her that I have a picture of it in my phone but I’m not repackaging it and driving with it all over my car. We argued for several minutes over THEM giving me a wrong order and even my receipt had chocolate on there! It was their fault for giving me the wrong thing!! She finally told me to call in after 12:00pm to speak to the manager, which I did do and they weren’t there…only to speak to Asha again who was RUDE AGAIN! She told me that she “spoke to her manager” and he told her to give me another ice cream. I brought my kids the next day and the man that took our order after giving me my “free” ice cream was RUDE and RUSHED my kid’s ice cream order! Needless to say, we won’t be back! We will spend our money at another small business ice cream shop...
Read moreThe staff was concerned with the "walk-up" patrons. They were more focused on the drive-thru. They manged to clear out approximately 20 - 25 cars in drive-thru, while approximately 15 customers (only about 5 groups of orders) stood in line for an hour. And after the drive-thru was cleared out, the drive-thru cashier & "supervisor" stood back and chatted, while the walk-up patrons remained standing, waiting for a chance to place an order. They had 4 walk-up windows. The young man working walk-ups the entire time was doing his best to take orders & prepare them. The other employees should have immediately started taking walk-up orders, once the drive-thru was clear. That would have showed the walk-up patrons that they were actually concerned with getting them taken care of as quickly as possible. The worst part of this visit was when I mentioned to the chatting employees, that the patrons have been standing in line for an hour, they just stood there rolling their eyes, until another employee who was wiping down the ice cream cooler called them lazy, and stopped cleaning to come assist the patrons. Thennnnn, they reluctantly came to lend a hand. It's a shame that patrons have to wait in extremely long drive-thru lines. But to have to wait for an hour, only to see evidence that the employees aren't concerned with your wait, that's a slap in the face. And little do the employees realize, if the patrons stopped waiting in the long lines, their jobs would be at stake, like many other businesses which have closed, due to lack of customers. If I didn't already plan to get 2 strawberry shortcake sundaes as Mother's Day gifts, I definitely wouldn't have waited in...
Read moreI ordered a custom cone ice cream cake from the Fayetteville location on the 27th of July. I arrived to pick up my son's cake on the 30th, the time I was given. When I arrived I was told that the decorator had forgot to put the cones around the cake. I asked if there could be something done or a refund. Patel, the owner, who was on the phone told us that he can give me the cones to put on the cake, myself. The second option was to just take the cake as is. He couldn't give me a refund or a discount for the mistake he made. I would have to go online to get a refund, which there is nothing online showing how to get a refund. So, not only was the cake not decorated correctly but I was correct his mistake myself. I still can't find how to get my money back. I left the cake because at this point I'm not shopping with Bruster's anymore. I would like my refund for a incorrectly decorated cake. The payment was 39.99. I have notified their customer service. I shouldn't have to go through this just because someone...
