I was in the area for lunch, and just wanted something fast to hold me over until dinner, as I had plans for a big dinner. I spotted the KFC and went inside. I wound up having to wait 25 minutes for the staff to prepare a few KFC Snacker sandwiches. I have no idea how or why that could possibly take that long, but I passed the time sipping a cola and reading the Weekender magazine.
When I approached the soda machine area, the counter appeared to be moving. Upon closer examination, there was spilled soda all over the counter near the soda machines, and there were hundreds of little black bugs that were smaller than a pinhead swimming in the spilled soda. I have no idea what the bugs were...perhaps gnats or little fruit-fly type bugs that are attracted to the syrup.
It was obvious that the soda spill and the bugs had been there quite some time, because it would take some time for that many bugs to gather, and also because the soda was starting to congeal into syrup.
I informed the cashier about the bugs, and she muttered something to the effect of, "Okay, we'll take care of it". During my 25 minute wait, no one had cleaned up that soda counter, and the bugs were still happily swimming in the soda when I left.
Although I do like the taste of KFC on occasion, the cleanliness of this place is questionable. Eventually, those bugs would probably start moving towards the overflow reservoir in the soda...
Read moreFirst off the man who took my order was great. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS TRASH. I spent 11.87 of my hardworking money and did not get what I ordered. That wouldve been deemed a simple mistake but the receipt read my order correctly. Then on top of that I get home and realize my order was wrong so I called the store over 10 times(still calling as I write this) and they haven't answered. What is the point of having a phone if your GOING TO IGNORE IT RINGING. That's just unprofessional. Especially seeing that while I was in there the employees were on their personal phones. If I had one of their personal numbers then I guess it'd be easier to get in touch with KFC that way. I guess I'm going to have to be content with them carelessly bamboozling me out of my hard earned money and my food as well. Not to mention the gas it'd take to have to go back to KFC just to get what I should have gotten from the beginning. ESPECIALLY seeing that I was the ONLY CUSTOMER THERE. If I want to waste my money that's my business but to have somebody else waste my money is a big hell no for me. If you don't want your money wasted dont to this KFC because they will do it and they won't care they did it. And btw. My biscuit hard as a rock as well. Smh would have done better making a pb...
Read moreGreat location and great people (especially James Hamm and Daynia McDonald)! I placed an online order and on my way to pick up, was involved in a 3 car accident. After an hour, I went to get my food but it had been sitting there ready for a while. I explained the situation and Daynia immediately went to James so see about remaking my order. He said absolutely but let me know there would be a wait on chicken. (Making it fresh and everything!) Daynia asked me if I was ok and reassured me that everything would be well and they would help me with their service. She even provided me a drink while I waited for my food. I went out to my car to see about my rear end damage and James came out to see about helping me. He assisted me with finding a way to keep my truck door closed since the latch would not close properly and even advised/informed me to jerryrig a way to make sure the trunk was light off to not drain my battery.
Daynia brought out my food and again gave me positive help and reassurance. Again, amazing people and amazing customer service. Really helped turn a bad night into a bad night with fresh food....
