Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Fayetteville

For starters I tried to place an order online, it wouldn’t go through. Same experience a week ago when trying to order online, had to call in to order. I get a lady on the phone today, she tells me they may can’t deliver to my address, even though this is the Papa Johns that delivers to my address. Anyway she tells me after I have to question her and tell her I just ordered from there a little over a week ago and it was delivery that delivery would take over 3 hours but I can order for carry out. We’ve been on the phone 5 mins now, I still haven’t actually ordered. It’s after 10:00 pm now at this point, she takes my order for carry out, then tells me I hate to say this but it will be an hour and 30 mins before you can pick up your order, which I say ok that’s fine. She puts me on hold, comes back and tells me oh I can’t actually take your order(me confused because you just took my order) it’s after 10:00 pm. I’m frustrated at this point. I asked to speak to the Manager, Travis was his name. He tells me oh she’s probably just not aware of the time, she was suppose to be off but she came in for someone, etc. As a Manager at this point you just take care of the customer, you don’t make excuses. Terrible customer service. The solution should have been, I apologize let me get this done for you, I will just have to bring it outside to your car because you can’t come in the store after 10 pm. Ordered 2 XL NY style cheese pizzas with light sauce and extra cheese and 8pc plain wings well done and 4 sides of pizza sauce, wings were well done but still soggy, completely forgot the 4 sides of pizza sauce ( pizzas $2 for small dipping cups) and the cheese on the pizza was equal to what you would put on a medium pizza for regular amount nevermind it was supposed to be 2 XL pizzas with extra cheese, called and spoke with a manager, he was very pleasant, offered to remake the pizzas himself and make sure there was the extra cheese on it, okay no problem, remade pizzas and missing pizza sauce cups arrived quickly, plus 2 additional sauce cups ( sweet, thanks) but still a problem, we ordered light sauce the new ones had regular amount, okay we can deal with it, but still the same issue with the cheese, barely regular cheese amount on it, you can see the crust bubbles in the center of the pizza with no sauce or cheese on it, do they not know what extra cheese is?, you shouldn't see any sauce let alone bare crust especially in the center of the pizza, not worth the time, effort or price and completely lacking any taste, we're done...

I love Papa John's pizza from every Papa John's I've ever eaten at where I'm from in Virginia, but this Papa John's continually misses the mark. They are extremely stingy with toppings, the toppings are never evenly distributed, there are often big gaps where there's no cheese and only sauce exposed. I have ordered from here a handful of times since moving here almost 2 years ago and I'm always optimistically assuming they were having an off night or a new person made the pizza. Months will go by and I'll totally forget the poor product and order again because no other Papa John's has disappointed me so, only to be reminded why I previously crossed them off my list. I now have the taste of an old rag in my mouth. The Señor Papa must be notified of the poor quality of this here pizzeria that in no way lives up to the standards he claims. Now I have a disappointed hubby and a gluten/dairy intolerant toddler who is usually satisfied with eating the toppings but since we were skimped so drastically on toppings, he's left with a grumbling belly.
