The manager on duty basically accused me of stealing sweet tea when my receipt showed that i had paid for a large soda. However, I'm not the one that changed it to a soda, the gal at the counter did when i paid cash for my drink. This manager was so unprofessional and obnoxious that two older gentlemen (that didn't know each other), waiting for their orders interjected because they had heard the discussion between myself and the cashier. After taking my money, the cashier began filling straws and lids, so it was easy to let her know that the sweet tea dispenser was near empty and i wasnt sure that there would be enough to fill my cup and she kindly replied "thank you for letting me know and if it runs out on you and I can finish filling it at the dispenser in the drive thru". Before I could say thank you, a woman behind me says, (which upon turning around, i recognized as a shift manager, "well you get what you pay for, that's sweet tea and you ppaid for a soda, if you wanted tea, you should have paid for tea, and people wonder why we have to keep raising prices". I have never taken anything from a restaurant that I haven't paid for or that was given to me, and if I were going to stoop to the level of stealing, I can assure you that it wouldn't be a dollar beverage from a fast food chain! I was completely embarrassed and humiliated. When the manager heard the entire situation, she never apologized for her action, but instead gave me a second large sweet tea for the "confusion". I guess the standard has become "the customer is never right" because employees are able to treat customers however they choose to. Back when i workes at McDonald's (in the late 80's), we were held to a much higher standard and a manager would have been terminated for speaking to a customer in this manner. The way she reacted you would have thought that one cup if tea would send McDonald's straight into banckruptcy. Which became even morw confusing when she handed me the second cup of tea! I would have submitted a complaint to the corporate office had i known her name, but probably for reaaona like this, ahe wasn't...
Read moreI put in a mobile order at 5:25 AM I ALREADY PAID FOR MY FOOD. I didn’t make it to this location until about 5:40, and I’ll just remind yall this is supposed to be a 24 hour location. I pull up to the speaker said “hello” a few times with no response, pulled to the first window and saw the manger in the building I honked my horn and she completely ignored me so I pulled up to the second window honking my horn AGAIN to get the managers attention but she STILL IGNORED ME ! Then a man came from the kitchen trying to make excuses for this “manager” as to why she wasn’t taking my order or acknowledging me. I had to show the guy what I had ordered so he could make my food. While I’m waiting this manager FINALLY comes to the window trying to figure out what I ordered and I told her I tried to tell you what I had at the speaker but no one answered me, and all she could say WITH AN ATTITUDE was her headset did not beep….i use to work for McDonalds so I tend to be more empathetic towards the staff because I know how hard this job can be…BUT my experience here was terrible. She had the worst attitude and she didn’t even want to serve me the food I already paid for. Trying to hide, to fool customers into thinking that no one was working. The man in the kitchen should be in charge since this manger has no respect or hospitality for paying customers. And my food was mediocre but I’m not going to blame the man in the kitchen, because ATLEAST he ACKNOWLEDGED me. And he’s the only reason I’m even...
Read moreI went inside this Mcds tonight at approximately 8pm to get the .50 double cheeseburger for national hamburger night not knowing I had to download the app. I was the only customer inside. Once I was informed, I began to download the app and as I was waiting For it to download and to sign up on my phone etc, several mice were running around. A couple of workers were trying to catch them but with smiles on their faces. One female worker was terrified. I demanded that the health dept be contacted immediately and one manager said “there is nothing we can do”. I became very upset and said “are you still going to serve all of the people on the drive thru line?” The manager shrugged his shoulders. I asked for the lead manager and then she told a worker to get the GM on the phone immediately. I asked “is that all your going to do?” This place should have been shut down immediately until further notice. I was so sick to see the poor reaction and response by the manager on duty. From her reaction it was clear that this has been an ongoing issue that ALL employees appear to be aware of. I was also in shock because so many people were in line with the intentions that they would be served a hot fresh meal with the hopes that the meal was safe to eat from this particular franchise. Please do not go there and preserve your health because if mice are running around in the lobby area, that means they are everywhere, in the food, utensils, oil,...
