Mickey's Garage Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I wouldn’t even add a star, but you have to in order to leave a review. I have never experienced terrible service like I did tonight. My husband and I went to eat dinner here because unfortunately nothing else stays open in this town besides a bar. 🙄 We were there for two hours and we did not receive one refill. After an hour we asked if our food was started and they said yes so we told them we would have to take it to go because we had to get our children. We don’t go out often without them but it was my husband’s birthday so we just went to eat by ourselves. Well, we waited another hour. They did not put some of our order in the bag. We tell them and the response was, “Well, we didn’t charge you”. At that point we shouldn’t have had to pay for anything in my opinion. We were ignored the entire two hours because they couldn’t do their job and it seemed like they blamed us. Shame on them. Let me add the fact that the place wasn’t even half full of people. I’ll NEVER go back. We need better restaurants in this town because this is ridiculous. It’s a Friday night and this was our option because other places close...

The service was great, the staff seemed to be friendly and professional but the food.....meh not so much. We ordered popcorn shrimp for an appetizer and it was clearly just some low priced shrimp with lots of breading and hard as a rock, we didn't eat it. The salad was a plastic bowl with some lettuce and a handful of cheese, dressing was from a package. My burger, a pattie and it was cold and had obviously been sitting too long and kind of gross, didn't eat that either. The Mayo on the burger even had an odd taste. The sweet tea was good but I basically paid $15 for a baked potato for dinner. The shrimp was taken off the bill but we paid for the rest of the food, didn't want to complain about it further. This was absolute rubbish! We ordered a $25 medium rare 14oz rib eye meal only to have a disgusting, cold, congealed, mostly inedible piece of tough meat put in front of us. When we told the staff they said “that’s how rib eye is”. Yeah…ok. Sure. I’m 51 and never had a “rib eye” like this. No offer to replace it. About 6 ounces were completely inedible. We will never be back. First picture shows all the meat that couldn’t be eaten. Second shows the “medium rare” steak. They have no business selling food.
