Mr Taco Loco — Restaurant in Fayetteville

This was our second time here, last time was taco Tuesday, no issues, happened to be in town today, so we stopped ordered burrito with steak, and burrito with pastor, pastor was ok, steak burrito was my husbands he took 2 bites, first one he spit out in napkin, it was all gristle, second bite gristle with a piece of bone, took it to the front showed the manager and explained it was bone, told him we didn't want it, decided to get some chips and queso that was like $4.00, he didn't apologize he didn't offer a refund for that burrito, mind you the chips and queso was not even half of the price of his burrito plater, he didn't eat anything else on his plate, I asked for a refund, it took him over 5 minutes just to get him to understand me. He said oh no ... no money back .... you not eat... i make you nother .... he didn't want another, and i couldn't blame him (my husband) for not wanting anymore.....so needless to say, we won't be back...customer service is a big thing to us, so if they don't try to make it right, he didn't seem to care or even understand he didn't want another. Their prices have went up since our last visit also. I would not recommend.... we sure...

Honestly I really like a lot about this place! And for the most part, after going there about 5 times everyone is great! And now for why it's not 5 stars; 1 rude server, front desk dude. Seen several reviews eluding to him, rude and maybe you'll get what you ask for if you ask him 5 times. He just refused to ask the awesome chefs in the back to flash grill/fry a fresh jalapeño for me. Even though they've done it for me before and I always paid for it and tipped outrageously nice because I know it's an extra thing. ($20 TIP ON A TEN DOLLAR MEAL) because that's how awesome and attentive the rest of the staff is. Will probably go again, but if I see that dude working the register I'll turn around and just go to Mango's Gourmet Shop! They have all been outstanding! And not afraid of flash frying a fresh jalapeño for a customer. Its so simple. (P.S. - I know you have old warm cooked jalapeños by the salsa.. it's not what I'm asking you for. Playing loud rap music did not fit my appetite or the ambiance. The vibe of the music make me feel ill. But the place looks great. The crunchy beef tacos are excellent, crispy shells! Got a large cheese dip for $8, I was shocked how small it was. It was white dip with the consistency a touch heavier than milk, with no taste whatsoever. It's maybe a cup full (see picture) I asked if that was a large dip? They said "YES". Definitely a rip off. 👮‍♂️ You get about 1/2 carry your lunch to school paper sack of chips, they were stale and the bag was soiled with oils when they handed it to me, probably soy 🤢.They asked me if I would like any red sauce. I said yes. "How many would you like?" I said 3. They said "TWO". 🤔I asked if I could get some more chips. They said "NO". I was willing to pay, but I just wanted to get out of there.
