Scoops — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I was in the area and wanted some ice cream. Can you imagine how excited I was when I searched Yelp and found Scoops??? Omgggggggggggg.

I pulled in and was immediately in love with the area. Scoops sits towards the middle near the park and sits cozy in the corner. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by the staff and SUPER EXCITED by the bright colors, old skool candy, and assortment of ice cream. Oh yes, this place is a gem and I am ready to go gem hunting. LoL.

I can’t lie, choosing a flavor was sooooooooo hard. As such, I had to get a few samples.

I tried the: Lemon Cheesecake and the Yellow Cake Batter

Ok. As Cookies & Cream is my go to, I had to go outside of my comfort zone. Man listen, I wanted BOTH OF THEM. The flavor profiles are super robust and the ice cream is extra creamy. Oh my gosh, I’m talking a melt in your mouth, smooth, thick texture that is absolutely delicious.

I got the Yellow Cake Batter with an Ultimate Waffle Cone… the rest is history.

Oh My Goshhhhhhhhh… is there such a thing as Ice Cream Induced Happiness???? If so…. I’m in it!!!!!!

Great walk in feeling, with a small, cozy, but not cramp interior.

Wheelchairs would likely cause minor inconvenience to any users of them (ie people might need to move out of line slightly to make room.) however I (never used a wheelchair except for passing out in primary school) cannot be sure.

The texture: the best texture and mouth feel of any ice cream I’ve ever had. (Really) it is very soft but also rough and dry just enough.

The flavours aren’t their specialty (but they are still great) I just feel I mostly like it for the feel.

Seating is plentiful. No issues, so no comments. You will not be unable to find seating.

Pleasant place, and I go here often. Can’t give much opinion on anything but the ice...

I bring my kids here often.. since they've opened actually and have been disappointed with the service the last few times I've been here. I always ask for the cookie dough topping and I'm always told a different story. The mixing table is off, they're out, and now I'm told they no longer have any cookie dough topping. So I asked would it be removed from the menu then? And I was ignored and then eventually told it was in the works to be removed. Good to know so I can finally stop asking about it. There was no apology or anything. As a customer, how am I supposed to know that the topping I've been getting is no longer available if it is still listed...
