In all fairness let me say upfront that I am born and raised in Brooklyn New York City.....have eaten at some of the best pizza spots.

For someone born and raised in the south the pizza here is probably a 10 out of 10. For a New Yorker the pizza here is a 6.5. The waitress told me that they've been told that they have the closest NYC pizza in this part of Georgia....it must be someone born in the south that said it! Ladies and gentleman be careful believing what you read on reviews because you never know who the review is coming from or where they are used to eating.

Also ordered a chicken parmigiana sub....what I received was not a sub. They put an undercooked fried chicken breast on a small chibatta bun and charged me $9.50 for it.

Luckily I always check my order before I leave a restaurant. Complained and was told that I should have stated that I wanted it on a sub roll 🙄.....every pizza spot puts the chicken parmigiana on a sub roll but my luck I get a place that doesn't.

They offered to remake the order then I understood why they use ciabatta rolls for the chicken parmigiana sandwiches. This time they put it on a sub roll (what they should have done in the first place).

But then they only gave me half the sub.....DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN PARMIGIANA HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY $9.50 FOR HALF OF A SUB (see picture).

I should have requested a refund but I let it ride, got robbed but never again.

Restaurant owner if your reading this review please stop being GREEDY for profit and stop CHEATING your customers.....if your going to charge $9.50 for a sub give your customers the whole sub!

First and last time spending my money here. Burn me the first time shame on you, burn me the second time shame on me.

Search continues for a good...

In spite of living nearby and going to local eateries we had not taken the time to stop into this location. We met some friends here on the same night that a local restaurant has their trivia night. The place was nearly empty with two folks working for the front and the oven.

Not really sure what we were thinking in relation to the size of pizza we ordered. One of our guests had special food needs so three of us opted to order the 16" large 5 meat pie. It is a LOT of pizza. When it came out it was nice and hot, covered with loads of stringy cheese and ample meat toppings. The crust was good, the sauce was pretty decent, and overall the pie presented well. The 'special' pizza looked good as well. The sweet tea was very good, not too sweet. The location offers some beers, wine, and spritzers.

Service was quick, but they were dead as could be. There was only one other group in/out alongside us the entire visit. It was easy to tell that the waiter hardly knew what to do with himself. They stayed busy doing extra cleaning and so forth and on that note, the location is very clean inside, no weird smells or such as that.

The pizza was very filling. Probably the sheer amount of cheese that was on it alongside how big a 16" pizza is. None of the three of us sharing that pie were able to even finish the second piece. Admittedly, I would not be against going back if the opportunity presented, but there is another well-known Fayette County chain of pizza places that I would pick instead every time.

Totally worth...

Tour De Italy has the best 5 Cheese Pizza that I have ever had in my life. I have had many different 5 cheese pizzas at many different locations! I cannot tell you anything on the menu that I have had that was not truly delicious!

What I would really like to comment on is the service. Most especially, Dominica.

Tonight my partner and I were served by Dominica, who waved at us as we walked in the door. My partner orders take out a lot and sees Dominica more often than I. My partner told Dominica back in February of this year, 2014 that my mother passed away. When Dominica came to the table to take our orders, she greeted us with a smile then looked at me with a concerned face and said, "I heard about your loss, how are you and everybody doing?" I almost fell out of the booth! That was over 2 months ago and she remembered that! Talk about knowing your customers! That was just the icing on the cake because we always receive exceptional service! Kudos to Dominica and to Tour De Italy for having the best food, best service, and a manager that certainly knows how to train his/her...

Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The pizza was completely inedible—undercooked dough, barely melted cheese, and a strange, sour taste that made it impossible to eat. I was shocked at how bad it was, especially after paying $27 for 2 slices. When I politely asked for a refund or even an exchange, I was flat-out refused. The staff was rude and dismissive, with zero concern for customer satisfaction. It’s one thing to serve bad food, but to double down with terrible service just shows they don’t care at all. Save your money and your time—Tour de Italy is absolutely not worth it. I won’t ever be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

It was my birthday on Valentine's Day and I decided to order something special, Italian and since there's nothing in Fayetteville except Olive Garden with Lasagna, which is what I wanted, I tried this place. I saw the reviews and should have known, this is basically a pizza place and not a very good one. The lasagna tasted like it was a frozen dish that had some extra cheese added on top and blah AF.... the greek salad was OK, they pounded it with cheese so it was hard to tell. This place could do better if they had a good chef....uh cook!!! The bread was a real big disappointment too. I wouldn't recommend this place for either dine in or take out...sorry!!!
