A couple of weeks ago, I placed an order at the Walter Reed Rd location. I ordered a flatbread with chicken and another with a plant based substitute for chicken for someone who doesnt eat meat. Upon arriving at home I realized that the sandwiches weren't labeled, and the apple kale slaw was less than half full. I also ordered two smoothies. I called the store and spoke with the shift manager and she was really nice and agreed to replace the entire order at my convenience. I called the restaurant on yesterday and spoke with "Mike". I explained the situation and she asked what was wrong with the order. I asked if she was able to see the order in the book which was written by the shift manager. She stated "yes, but I'm the store manager and I need to know what was wrong with the order." I explained and she began to make excuses for the lack of apple kale slaw. I explained that there was barely enough to cover the bottom of the container and that was unacceptable. She asked what was wrong with the smoothies and I stated the shift manager agreed to replace the entire order for my inconvenience. "Mike" stated "I'll talk to the manager and teach her how to document in the book correctly." Note to "Mike". When you're attempting to correct an error, it's very much unbecoming , it's rude and unprofessional to keep reminding the customer that you are the manager and to demean the shift manager by questioning her ability to document the mistake correctly. You did not represent as a person who was taking responsibility for the mistakes of your restaurant. Your behavior was of a person who only cares about money and not quality of product or service. To the shift manager. Thanks for accepting responsibility and hopefully one day you'll have Mike's job. By the way "Mike" the order you filled was also incorrect. I didnt order the chicken pesto with bbq sauce. Hopefully, one day you will learn how to take an order...
Read moreI normally don’t give reviews unless i had an amazing experience or the worst experience. Yesterday during my lunch break, I had went to the tropical smoothie near Owen Drive and I had the most nastiest experience ever. I had witnessed one of the workers spill bacon on the floor and proceeded to put it on someone’s order. After witnessing something like that with my own eyes, I found that highly disgusting and unsanitary and I will not recommend that place to no one for the fact, I wouldn’t want anyone else eating at an establishment where there’s food picked up off the floor and spent it with their hard earned money. On top of the fact that another person had witnessed the problem and decided to call her out and the work then proceeded to be very unprofessional and cursed back at the customer with racial slurs. So not only was it nasty service but all so unprofessional service.I chose to go to owen Drive location with a coworker only because it was closest to us from work but the one place that never disappoints me is the location on Skibo rd which is closer to my home so I do go there more often than the one on Owen drive. After all of that I didn’t even want the food I through it away and I was scared to ask for a refund because I didn’t want to get fussed out by the worker and cause another scene. But the workers at Skibo rd never have disappointed me and always try their best to make sure your order gets out in time. I really do appreciate the service and please never let the good...

I’m not sure what’s going on here lately, but something definitely needs to be addressed. The level of training across various areas of the food service seems to be lacking, and it’s impacting the overall experience.
First, cleanliness is a serious concern. The facility does not appear to be well-maintained, and the food prep areas look unsanitary. On more than one occasion, I’ve seen actions that raise red flags—such as someone wiping the side of my cup with what looked like a dirty rag. The posted sanitation grade is a 97, but based on what I’ve observed, that must have been on a very good day.
Secondly, order accuracy is consistently poor. I’ve placed the same smoothie order multiple times and included a simple, specific request, yet it continues to be made incorrectly. It’s frustrating and shows a lack of attention to detail.
In addition, the quality and presentation of the food are disappointing. My sandwich looked hastily and carelessly thrown together, with no effort at all to make it presentable.
Lastly, the dining area feels unprofessional. There’s a table in the middle of the room that seems to be used for socializing and storing personal items. It’s uninviting and inappropriate for a customer-facing space.
I’ve been a frequent customer, but after today’s experience, I’ve reached my limit. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because improvements are...
