I understand people have bad days. I get it. I work in the service industry, too, and understand that people can be challenging. I went to this location as it was my favorite to go to. I ordered the yaki soba.
When I got home, the food was not fresh, unfortunately. It was hot but very dry. You can tell when the food is fresh and just cold vs. old and reheated. My dish was old and reheated on the hibachi. The lady in the pink was extremely disrespectful and dismissive over the phone. Sadly the art of customer service is being lost and they have the audacity to suggest customers leave gratuity.
The lady in the photo went back and forth on how there was nothing wrong with my food with a snarky attitude. Instead of taking the time to hear my concerns, she was too quick to go back and forth with no solution. I asked for her name as a reference. She said, "I don't have to give you my name, and then she hung up. I drove all the way back to Walter Reed.
Just because food was prepared on the hibachi grill doesn't mean it's "fresh." They say it was "cooked fresh to order." With all due respect, it wasn't. The noodles were extremely soft and dry. The broccoli was old. The chicken was dry. I wish I had taken a picture of my food, but I left the food with them.
As a person who has a hidden disability, I don't feel comfortable going here. 😕 I walked there in my sweats because I just had abdominal surgery this week and wanted to get out of the house for fresh air.
No, thank you.
If I were in their shoes, I would take the time to hear what's wrong with the food and try to...
Read moreHORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE Service ! Staff is VERY Rude , and will not be ordering from there again EVER ! Veronica Lee- Manager on duty on June 4, 2016 @ 5:30 pm called the police on me to leave when I refused to until she gave my daughter an apology for calling her a liar about food she never received. She has called & ordered food there plenty of times so you would think the owner would value his loyal customers well he DOES NOT!! Instead he told his RUDE manager to make me another & had the audacity to say he would not serve us anymore REALLY!!!!! This showed me exactly why his manager had that horrible attitude & thought it was ok to accuse my daughter of lying about $4. 50 for a spicy roll. REALLY . THe OWNER would rather teach his employees to be RUDE & call the police on his loyal customers when HIS STAFF MAKES A MISTAKE . DID I ACCUSE THEM OF STEALING FROM HIM NO I DID NOT ALL I WANTED WAS AN APOLOGY FOR MY FALSELY ACCUSED DAUGHTER WHO IS NOW AN EX- LOYAL CUSTOMER . IF YOU WANT BAD SERVICE & THEN HAVE THE POLICE CALLED ON YOU THEN I STRONGLY RECOMMEND...
Read moreNot a good experience at all. My daughter and I ordered a hibachi meal with only vegetables minus the zucchini. I have ordered vegetable only Hibachi at a number of other places, but this was my first time eating here. You can imagine my surprise when my daughter and I received a plate 75-80% filled with nothing but Onions! Who on God's green earth eats a plate full of onions?? Anyway it was when I approached the counter that I found out that if you don't get zucchini then they don't give you more broccoli they double down on the onions. When I asked why I wasn't told this when I was ordering, they basically gave me the "I thought you knew." Newsflash: sometimes people try new places. Anyway, I didn't not ask for my money back but did let them know that I would never eat there again. (Why would I? Who wants that many onions?) I was able to speak with someone who worked there while walking out. I repeated, their process is their process, just let the customer know so they can make an informed decision. She seemed receptive, so that was what the 1...
