I decided to upgrade my rating since this restaurant has become one of our regular spots for dining out. The customer service has significantly improved.
However, during our recent visit, my wife and I ordered two items, but the cashier mistakenly rang up four different items. We didn't realize the error until we got home. Additionally, he charged us for tea that we never ordered and didn’t receive. Typically, Vietnamese pho places serve hot tea for free.
Due to the overcharge and the charge for something we neither ordered nor received, I’ve decided to take off a star from my review.
Pho 7 is a decent place for Vietnamese noodle soup. The large combination noodles are quite good.
The Bun Bo Hue is unique in that it can be served with either pork or beef. We chose the beef option, which includes one piece of rib. I haven’t tried the pork version yet, but it usually comes with pig’s blood, which was not included in this dish. The flavor is also different from what I’m used to. At other places I've visited, the soup is made with beef bone marrow and served with thick round noodles, cooked pig's blood in large cubes, sliced meat, fish cake, and pig’s feet, all garnished with shredded cabbage and banana blossoms.
I did not see any black pepper on the table, but they do offer other sauces for the pho. The server—whom I believe is the owner—did not check on us until it was time to pay for our meal. It would have been nice to receive a water refill during our dining experience.

Read moreI took a chance at this place since it seems all the pho places in fed way have mixed reviews, this one had overall good reviews and mentioned they are family owned, which I liked. Also I saw someone mentioned they have an excellent rating for health inspection! :) Everything I got was fresh and tasteful including all sides like basil & lime, I got a large number 1 pho noodle, chicken egg rolls and a Vietnamese coffee. The sizing was large and hearty as a to go order, I only ate half and am full. The broth was flavorful and very hot, no need to add extra sauces to spice it up. Usually have to microwave to go pho for 3 minutes to get it hot, the only reason I had to microwave this pho for 45 seconds is once I added the bean sprouts, it cooled off the dish. Everything including the noodles was very hot when I got it home. Usually the meat at pho places comes raw in to go orders, it was fully cooked with herbs placed on top. Egg rolls were crunchy and fresh, only small gripe was a lil too much ice in my coffee but other than that, I would come back again! The young man at the front was friendly, made sure I didn't forget my straw. Would 10/10 recommend if you live in the area, the pho here will hit the spot if you...
Read moreI tried the beef pho with brisket, flank and meatballs the other night and it was ok but I've definitely had better. I found this soup bland yet flavourful all at the same time. The broth is a little heavy on the star annice for me and when you add the noodles it becomes flavourless except for a pleasant aftertaste of Asian spices but not so much of beef flavour. The broth's aroma was also overwhelming with five spice/star annice and it filled my home. The meat is clearly pre sliced and packaged for soups but they had that funny I've been refrigerated too long smell that was sort of off putting. The nice thing was the noodles were undercooked so they stayed a nice texture in the soup instead of turning to mush half way through and they give you a lot of cilantro and green onions. The presentation was also nice however I do judge on how you pack your food to go and putting 8 fire hot chicken gyoza into a paper bag so they can all stick together only to tear open when someone has to pull them apart is really not a good time. This place is ok it's just not the flavours I'm looking for in...
