I tried them right when they first open with lots of excitement of having a new Pho spot in my neighborhood!! I placed a to-go order of my favorite Pho Chicken soup, the broth was a little bit bland but still overall happy with portion and packaging! And then a couple more togo orders I was happy with... Thats when they first opened so maybe they decided to change later because when I placed a to-go order on a day that it had snowed and it looks to be that everybody was thinking of soup that day because the restaurant was busy when I had came in to pick up my to-go order... I had ordered a large steak Pho and a large chicken Pho soup and was delivering to a sick friend...and when arriving to friends 25 mins later and opening up to see that there was barely any noodles a finger of meat!! Now I know steak pho your not expecting a huge portion of raw meat but not a tiny pinky finger for a large order and my large chicken pho that I had before was always nice and hearty but this time had again a couple bites of chicken not what you would expect with a large pho soup which usually I will get to have alittle left over for a nice warm up the next day, but this time had devoured the small portion within minutes!! If you are a pho soup lovers you know it's a very hearty soup of goodness.. So I did stop in the next day after taking care of my sick friend to see if there was a confusion on my order and was maybe given regulars instead of larges but was told that that is actually their portion sizes now and was not interested in hearing feed back..I'm going to post a picture of Pho Tasty togo order and another Pho restaurant to show what is usually expected!! Sad to say really disappointed in Pho Tasty not sure if that day they just weren't expecting a large crowd but unfortunately I will not refer anymore of my friends and family from the neighborhood to join them because I wouldn't want them to have the same...
Read moreThe service here is extremely rude. The first time I went in the woman came up to me and demanded my vaccination card (I think she is the owner). I gave it to her and ordered. I then saw her walking around with no mask on serving people food. I thought that it was weird since she had asked for my vax card, which is not a mandate, but masks were mandated in restaurants when walking around. The second time I came a different woman was working and was very nice. The third time I came it was the rude woman working from my 1st visit. I ordered a drink to start. I started feeling sick to my stomach, so I went up and asked if I could order my food to go. She seemed extremely put out that I asked to order my food to go. Even though my drink was already being served in a to go cup and I had not even ordered food yet. I was also the ONLY person in the place. I came in again today and they same rude lady was yelling to me from across the restaurant and wanted to sit me at this tiny table for 2 with a chair. The restaurant is small and 85% of the tables were empty. I understand wanting to keep the 4 tops open, but there were so many of them available and it was 1:30 in the afternoon. I asked if I could please sit at a booth instead, as there were 8 booths empty. She was like, “you can sit at that small table,” the one I just asked if I could move from, and basically turned her back on me. So, at that point I left. I am not going to continue to give my money to rude people. The food is overpriced for what you are getting. You can go down the street and get a vermicelli cold noodle bowl for $5 less at Pho My Cau 2. I was giving this restaurant a lot of business in a short amount of time (I just moved here), I tip well, and I am polite. I love Vietnamese food. I lived in Vietnam for a year. There are plenty of other places to go to that have more authentic food and aren’t rude. Do...
Read moreI came to this restaurant for lunch to try their pho. As soon as I stepped in, I noticed I was the only customer, something about the atmosphere already gave me a bad feeling. Still, I’m new to the area and wanted to give it a shot, especially since the name of the place is Pho Tasty. You’d expect the pho to live up to that name.
To my surprise, the entire restaurant was being run by just one person. The woman at the cashier, who had a rude attitude, also turned out to be the chef. I ordered the P12, which on the menu is supposed to come with steak, flank, tendon, fatty flank, and crunchy flank. When my bowl arrived, it was missing the crunchy flank. The pho broth was so salty
As someone who is Vietnamese and knows what vè giòn (crunchy flank) looks and tastes like, I politely told her the meat was missing. Instead of being understanding, she got visibly annoyed, frowned, and told me to “check again” as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. Her customer service was terrible and made the whole experience uncomfortable.
If you’re looking for good pho and respectful service, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are plenty of better...
