Taqueria El Cinco de Mayo Food Truck #4 — Restaurant in Federal Way

I recently had the opportunity of stopping by this food truck and indulging in a delectable pizza birria, and it was nothing short of a spectacular. The pizza was impressively large, with a crispy crust that provided a delightful contrast to the beefy and cheesy toppings inside. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, that was truly satisfying. The consomme (purchased separately) is a rich, beefy, and tangy broth that was the perfect companion to the pizza, enhancing its savory profile. While I did wish the consomme had a bit more spice to it, it still served as a wonderful complement to the pizza.

I also added five chorizo tacos to my order and they were delightful. They were packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat, and they were cooked to perfection. Every bite was bursting with the robust taste of chorizo, making them an excellent addition to the meal.

The food is amazing but the service is bad. Asked for additional sauce and limes and the cashier acted like it was a problem and had an attitude. I feel if I’m spending $20+ dollars on food it shouldn’t be an issue giving out additional sauce. She tried to act like she put additional sauce in my bag and didn’t. So I had to go back and ask again and she said “more sauce??” In a rude tone as if she didn’t act like she gave me sauce and didn’t! The food is good but I don’t appreciated being treated like that at someone’s business...

Atmosphere is tough to rate as it's a truck in the parking lot of a gas station; compared to other experiences I will say that it's clean and accessible. I can only speak to my experience with Mexican street food from Baja Norte, but the mulitas (adobada and asada) and quesobirria tacos were as authentic as I have experienced north and south of the border.
